About
The Pitt Community College Foundation, Inc., was created in April 1973 to receive gifts and secure external resources for the college. The foundation may receive gifts of cash, securities, deferred gifts, property, equipment and materials. These gifts are used to provide funds for scholarships, educational activities, and educational materials that can assist the students and/or enhance Pitt Community College services.
More recently, the PCC Foundation has established several successful special annual events, including the PCC Scholarship Auction, President’s Reception, Down East Holiday Show, and Fall Golf Classic. The PCC Foundation has also established the PCC Alumni Association for alumni and friends of the college, and developed several new scholarship endowment funds.
The PCC Foundation is a non-profit organization and is governed by a Board of Directors.
