Mrs. Frances H. Murphy, age 72, a resident of 384 Tarheel Drive, Greenville, died Friday, June 24, 2011. A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at W.E. Flanagan Memorial Chapel.

Mr. Alvin Gene Sparkman, 62, of 207 Fairlane Road, died Saturday, June 4, 2011. A funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday at Philippi Church of Christ, 3960 Philippi Drive, Greenville. Burial will follow at Homestead Gardens. A visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday.
