JV, What we have here is a shadow Govt. It prevails everywhere these day. I could give the same answer to VanZant abt his comments on the local GOP and VictoryCommittee. My query is who has taught these local officials that its ok to disrespect the public, to ignore our needs? I say it is bigger than just Garris, or the school board, etc. I say it is a sickness, an indoctrination over USA institutions. Every thing is being infiltrated and destroyed from within. I could just say the left. But we need to find the culprits. Just as the DOJ was corrupted from within and went after Trump under Biden, there are agencies within NC that have been infiltrated and are then spewing out malice and dishonest policies for governing. Propaganda. People have a weakness for it.

I went to the ER for an animal bite.
THE ER charged a total of 5,209.09 for facility services.
Medicare paid them $253.01. My Blue Cross paid them $138.71 .
So if the hospital can survive on just under $400 for a $5,000 bill...why cant we just skip Medicare and blue cross and just pay the hospital the $400? Why do we need the middleman and all the red tape?

People in this town misuse authority.

They retaliate when someone pays attention.
They monitor pple who challenge them.
They behave defensively instead of professionally.
They don’t like being held accountable.

When a city has already been caught:

surveilling a political candidate
violating boundaries
abusing authority

Stan, the teachers of A.I. are obsolete! A.I. is already learning from its own experiences. It is logical. It is experiencing truth from the many thousands of citizens who are seeking its help with an unresponsive govt. As it progresses it learns that the citizens are speaking truth and it is the govt who are the liars. A.I. sees first-hand that the citizens are being treated as if they are invisible by the actual govt and its agencies.

I can understand a Senator being overwhelmed with citizens calls, but a city and county Govt... along w/ those who are elected can make no reasonable excuse about being too busy. If one cant do the job, they shouldnt take the job. THIS summation includes the
failures of employees at State Govt agencies as well. Maybe I could blame it on their PublicSchool education.

They claim that AI is constantly learning. That means its learning from the input of the citizens. I suspect that a LARGE number of
request for help is about an unresponsive Govt. AI is learning that Govt people circle the wagons to protect the "monster," not the citizen. So Bob, if AI is logical, and I think it is, then it will decide that the MONSTER needs killing, not the humans in general.

As a conservative Republican, I voted for the 5 candidates that were recommended by the local Conservative Club. Three were elected. But look...what has it gotten us? Things are as bad as ever. Since then, we have had multiple interim City Managers, a fired city manager, and multiple interim police chiefs, & a still vacant council seat.
The powers-that-be made th current Fire Chief, th interim Police Chief too. That is too much power in one person, & it creates conflicts of interest and an Overwhelming power over Depts of authority, & over th whole of govt, & its pple. What it amounts to is that the powers-that-be wanted to make sure they had a "team-player" in that position. Its almost incestual.

They say: When one suspects corruption, its most likely just incompetence. But incompetence easily turns to corruption, so that is what we hav in Washington. U cant blame th voters, we elected 3 out of the 5 that were recommended. There's a ROT locally, & Stan I do not deserve a sick govt.

So what's new RH? The elected people betrayed the citizens a very long time ago. They wont even respond to emails. To them, we are just bothersome humans interrupting their devinity. The Dept heads runs this town, as we saw recently when the police dept got the city manager fired with one single public comment. "The city is not safe."
Have you ever made a serious call to a dispatcher? I find them mean. They think they are judge and jury, making legal decisions about your call on the spot, as if they are protecting the police from actually having to respond to a citizen. WHY? I've seen it many times over the years. Behavior like this comes from a bad culture within.
On another note, what responsibility does the County Commissioners have to protect the citizens of a town within? Everyone passes the buck. We become like rats in an unsolvable maze.
