It does look like Mr. Cratch is involved in a conspiracy theory and smear campaign. Lots of people may be related by blood or marriage but that does not mean they are in sync politically. I have a brother myself who is a very leftwing Democrat and his wife is even father left. If they do something politically is that going to be blamed on me by gossip mongers like Mr. Cratch?

I have to wonder how long Mr. Cratch has know about this "family" connection to the 3 candidates and why he waited until now to make it known here.

Mr. Cratch, you do not seem to know what a conservative is and how to tell them. Many candidates call themselves "conservative" but are not. You have to do a deep dive into the policies and programs they advocate to determine which are the real deal and which are phonies. You seem to be a Langleyite on county politics, supporting the Uniparty led by Langley and with Frankie Waters as his front man and useful idiot.

I know what a patriot is, and I am one, but what is a "patrioto"? It sounds something like a Mexican patriot.

Lets look closely at the two candidates you claim to be "conservative". First there is Sheriff Coleman. This race seems to be about management and leadership, not ideology. Both seem to be conservative. There are few ideological issues, but two have some relevance although not stressed in either campaign. One is standing up to government Covid overreach. Ernie Coleman deserves our thanks for doing so. His opponent says he would have done the same thing, however, so both are conservative on this issue. Then there is gun rights. When asked in his first campaign what he would do if the federal government demanded he enforce gun control, Ernie said he would resign and refuse to do it. That is okay, but asked the same question, his opponent said he would stay and refuse to cooperate, a somewhat better answer. Neither would be a part of a federal gun control drive. Again, this race is not being fought over ideology but over leadership and management issues. Both candidates are personally conservative.

Then there is the county commission race where you seem infatuated with the ice queen and seem to be okay with her apparent ally, sellout Frankie Waters, in spite of his puppet strings leading to Jerry Langley. You call Mrs. Slann a "conservative" but looking at her policy stands in the campaign, there is absolutely no basis for that. In fact, her campaign has been the most evasive over where she actually stands on issues that I have ever seen in Beaufort County. One thing that stands out, however, is her mantra about being "nonpartisan" which just screams Uniparty. If you look at politicians who use this terminology they are the ones who sell out regularly to the Democrats and the left. In Beaufort County, we know what Democrats she would be selling out to - far left Jerry Langley and Ed Booth, the "Squad" of Beaufort County. Please respond by pointing out any basis in specific policy positions in her campaign that would support your calling Slann a "conservative"

Mr. Harvey,

I, too, share your questions about "Democrat Rock Star", Corey Rogerson. From what I have observed, it could possibly be discovered that someone allegedly sniffed out a mutiny being instigated from an outside "inside" source. Also, I hear that it is also quite possible that Rogerson is related, by marriage, to Hammonds as well as the nephew of Mr. Tandy Dunn. This isn't conspiracy theory; it's public knowledge. Is this a family affair? I think we have Republicans who told Rogerson to run against Sheriff Coleman? They've done it before.

I happen to find the scene below from "The Dead Zone" (1983) very fitting as I feel it describes the current state of affairs within our local government.

A handful of Republicans are blindly following who they are told, even though there is published evidence damning those they proudly support, and they're also attacking two Patrioto conservatives:

1. Sheriff Coleman

2. Dawn Brinson Slann

Concerned Taxpayer, I'm aware that there have been a handful of "debates" but they're still very much controlled. I have looked back through raw video footage and I have to say that none of your picks handled themselves in a manner that indicated they were strong MAGA candidates and Patriotos. I saw people who were threatened by DBS and even Frankie. As I've said before, it takes two to tango.

The Republicans are the same as Democrats. They're both full of shit and think the people will do as they say because they say so.

When Frankie Waters and his allies prevented a computation of what illegal aliens cost taxpayers in Beaufort County, it seems he was covering up for Biden and the Democrats.

NEVER FRANKIE

As to debates, there have been two already for county commissioners, one from the establishment run by the Realtors and another sponsored by the Beaufort County Republican Party. The conservative candidates for county commissioner appeared at both. Who was missing in action was Sheriff Coleman and the two incumbent school board members.

For me, as a county commissioner, every issue invariably deals with what it will cost taxpayers, and is that cost essential to our survival.

While Illegal Immigration is NOW the second largest cost to Beaufort County taxpayers, with the Biden /Harris Open Southern Border and Resettlement Project in perpetual overdrive, this terrible Democratic Socialist initiative to remake our society, our Constitutional republic into something unrecognizable, will eventually make Beaufort County a "Border County," and it will not take too many years before this enormous self-inflicted mammoth expense will become Beaufort County's largest cost to all Beaufort County taxpayers, irrespective of their heritage.

This knowledge can be simply derived by performing simple math, and by knowing the essence of this issue - the unwavering variables. Knowing this issue as well as I do now after dealing with it for the last couple of decades while I have served as a Rightly concerned Beaufort County commissioner, I will never stop advocating for all three levels of government to do what is Right in defending our sovereign borders ... remembering ... 'All politics, all governing is local.'

Why other less knowledgeable politicians, and their constituents, cannot grasp the dire nature of this inescapable mega issue is a pure wonder to me.

The illegal immigration over the southern border has A LOT to do with state and local government in North Carolina. It is the second largest expense for many county governments, including Beaufort County. Frankie Waters and his uniparty machine stopped our county from tallying the cost of illegal aliens, but there are a lot of secondary sources that show it like the number of children we pay for in public schools with English as a second language. Pretending this does not impact Beaufort County is sticking your head in the sand.

Frankie Waters is carrying water for a handful of big farmers who exploit illegal aliens, and Dawn Slann, like most things, is evasive and will not tell you where she stands.

"Fixing Beaufort County?" What is that supposed to mean? More big spending? Refusing to deal with illegal immigration?

President Trump made illegal immigration a major issue. That is the true MAGA position. Those who try to pooh-pooh the threat of illegal immigration are deviating from the MAGA position.

There are two candidates for commissioner with clear cut positions on illegal immigration, Deatherage is taking the Trump / MAGA position and Frankie Waters is against it. Tandy Dunn seems to lean more to the MAGA position, and Slann wants to deal with the Democrats on it, which is to sell out.

Kidwell is as MAGA as one can get. Murphy is an establishment bootlicker but so far he has mostly voted right on immigration issues. Murphy is too close to McCarthy to trust him entirely, however. Cowden is a much better choice there. And, of course, Ted Budd is the MAGA guy for US Senate.

I am wondering if the voters in Beaufort County are asking the same questions I am about Democrat candidate Corey Rogerson? In May of 2021 Rogerson was fired by current Sheriff Ernie Coleman. Rogerson stated that he was given no reason for his termination. Sheriff Coleman has also failed to give us all a reason. I’m sorry but if I own a business and am looking to fill a position and an individual is applying for that opening, I would want to know why a person was fired from their previous employer. I also believe if anyone is fired from any job by their boss, they know why. Rogerson’s case just doesn’t make sense.
Rogerson only worked only 2 years as a Beaufort County deputy. In that 2 years I am sure he saw corruption or unethical things in the command staff and some of the deputies. Well did you not hear me say Rogerson was also previously a deputy? Rogerson did not have a problem then with the so called wrong doings and saw first-hand the so called problems that were there. My question is why did he not say anything then? Rogerson did not say a thing until it effected his pockets. All of a sudden he wants to become our savior? I’m sorry I don’t buy it. I think Mr. Rogerson is running for Sheriff due to a vendetta against the current Sheriff not because he wants to help anyone from Beaufort County. What better way to get back at a man than to try and take his job?
I did not ask these questions to belittle or cause anyone any grief. I knew if I asked these on Facebook or Mr. Rogerson directly, nobody else would hear the answers to these questions that a lot of us are asking. I pray Mr. Rogerson answers these issues honestly. I agree with some of the things Mr. Rogerson has said in his public forums but with the small amount of experience he has compared to the other candidates, I/we need more information.

I will also add that it is encouraged for the reader to:

1. Do their own research

2. Notice patterns

3. Question EVERYTHING and EVERYONE

Both the DEMS and the Republicans, on the mainstream level, are eating their own. Remember WHO is attacking WHO. Remember WHO are the obvious aggressors and remember WHY Republicans are attacking certain candidates.

I think that Uniparty Republicans like Murphy and Kidwell need to pay close attention across the board. Even in this article, conservatives will still bow to the system and give honorable mention to actors like Kidwell and Murphy....even though they are known dirty players.

We The People are tired of weak Republicans and will not settle for anything less.....period. "Politics as usual" will not work in the Quantum era of the Republic. The people want fighters and Patriotos BUT the GOP wants "Yes Men" who fit their individual agendas.

For example, what the hell does the Southern Border have to do with Fixing Beaufort County? Instead of talking about distractions, let's talk about the "warrior mentality" of our conservative officials within Beaufort County?

How many of them would agree to a televised public debate in which We The People would ask THEM, the "elected" officials, questions about things we feel to be important? Wouldn't it be beneficial to both the voter and the elected official to establish a real dialogue? I think this could bring about a sense of healing and understanding. A politician would do it solely for a vote but a Patrioto, regardless of affiliation as Truth has no political party in reality, would do it because it's right AND it's fair.

I think it's only fair that elected officials across the board should face the public and let We The People form our own conclusions based off of the performance of said elected officials.

As a Patrioto, what's good for the goose is good for the gander. After all, you work for us. We don't work for you.

Thanks for the recognition Borderhawk.

It is important for all elected leaders to remind constituents and citizens of the importance of actually defending our sovereign southern border.

There is a great radio ad out on Beaufort County commissioners and illegal immigration. The influx of illegal aliens is not only a disaster for the nation but it runs up cost to state and local governments across the country. They are right to be upset. Only ONE Republican county commissioner seems to be out of step with trying to stop illegal alien migrants from coming into the country.

The ad centers on a resolution from conservative county commissioner Stan Deatherage demanding that the Biden regime enforce our country's immigration laws. EVERY Republican county commissioner supported that resolution EXCEPT Frankie Waters who voted with the two Democrats against it. The ad points out Waters was "sidin' with Biden". Waters apparently is going along with a few of his buddies who are big farmers who exploit illegal alien migrants.

Waters was also supportive of the Democrat position on illegal immigration on another motiion, also written by Deatherage on illegal immigration. That motion was to start keeping records of the costs imposed on Beaufort County by illegal aliens. That sounds like good common sense but Frankie Waters did not want to do it and voted against it.

It is clear who is on the side of the American public on illegal immigration and that is Stan Deatherage. It is also clear who is against the American public on illegal immigration and that is Frankie Waters. The two non-incumbent commission candidates do not seem to have taken a public position on the issue.

My vote will be for Stan Deatherage for county commission, and I will spread the word that Frankie Waters is unfit for office.

Another key race on illegal immigration is US Senate. Ted Budd has been a solid vote and a leader in the House against illegal immigration, and he will be in the Senate as well. The other two major candidates, not so much. Mark Walker is endorsed by former Speaker Paul Ryan, a major amnesty backer for illegal aliens, so he is not to be trusted. Pat McCrory, as governor, circumvented North Carolina statute to give NC drivers licenses to DACA illegal aliens, so he is not to be trusted either.

For Congress, Greg Murphy has been largely missing in action on immigration issues and he is far too close to House GOP leader Kevin McCarthy, who has been very weak on illegal immigration. Tony Cowden "gets it" on immigration, and will be a strong voice against illegal immigration. He is a far better choice.
Commented: Wednesday, April 27th, 2022 @ 9:19 pm By: borderhawk
Cowden, not Murphy, is the clear choice in the primary for Congress. For years, our Congressman Walter Jones stood up for principle and would not be dictated to by our RINO leadership in the House. Murphy is the exact opposite, a brownnoser for RINO leader Kevin McCarthy. We need a change and Cowden is the most viable of the alternatives.

Boehner and Ryan were establishment hacks and McCarthy is just as bad or worse. It was just exposed that McCarthy told other RINO members of Congress that he was demanding that President Trump resign after Jan. 6 and that he supported Big Tech deplatforming Republican Congressmen who raised issued of election fraud over the 2020 election. That Murphy is bronwnosing McCarthy is outrageous.

Murphy was an establishment Republican who carried water for special interests when he was in the NC House. He is heading the same way in Congress. We can do better.
