I knew kids when I was growing up who the radical gender ideologues of today would try to push into this transgender path. I can see people hating the ideologues who are trying to push vulnerable children onto a destructive path, but the main motive of conservatives is to protect children from the radical gender predators who want to push them into painful and irreversible genital mutilation and dangerous heavy duty drugs. It is love of children, not hate of the predators and profiteers that motivates most conservatives on this issue.
Finland prohibits this "treatment" nationally because its experts say 85% of gender confused children grow out of it naturally. Why permanently mutilate the body of a child for something that is only a temporary state of confusion? The left are monsters for wanting to do that, and the quacks are too for wanting to make money off of it.

So that's a no. See I think most of this is just fear. Honestly trans people freak me out too. Mostly because I don't know many. I will say they few I have met, have confirmed the notion that people are people. Anytime we treat any group with the brand brush of hate....its just not right.

Growing up I knew a number of girls in my neighborhood who would be targeted as "transgender" by those who adhere to that sick and twisted (good description, governor!) ideology. They were what we called "tom boys" in elementary school, who liked to do the things boys did instead of play with dolls. Today, they would undoubtedly be pressed to become "transgender" by the woke fools who push that idiocy. By puberty, about 7th grade, they had all become quite feminine girls. One of them was at my class reunion last year, Charlene, who still goes by the nickname Charlie, but a beautiful girl in high school, still married to another of my classmates, and still a knockout at nearly 70. I hate to think of what happens to similar girls today, confronted by radical gender ideology.

If you tried to tell that to the girls whose bodies and whose lives have been wrecked by this "gender affirming care", Bob, I do not think you would get very far, especially those now suing doctors and hospitals for the damage done to them. It is only to be hoped that there will be an explosion of these lawsuits to put these quacks out of business for good.

That Mississippi governor is right. It takes a sick and twisted person to do this to a child. North Carolina needs to step up and ban this evil practice. A child is not allowed to consent to sexual intercourse, nor can their parent consent for them, and this genital mutilation surgery and drugs has a lot more negative consequences for their lives and more permanent impact than an act of sexual intercourse.
