JS - if I am translating correctly, you are saying there are extremists on both sides who will say dumb sh*t. I try not to get caught up in it. I understand I offer up an opposing view but my pasts are based in fact. Facts can be interpreted some degree or another but facts are still facts.
I will add, sometimes one of you points out where I went wrong. If that happens, I accept it and adjust accorddingly. Do you?

Most of us on here evalute truth on an ovjective basis following the plain English meaning of the word. You are different, Bobbie in defining it in an Owellian sense, as a Newspeak defeinistion. Your "truth" is whatever the far left narrative and agenda happen to be at a given moment.
Conspiracy throties are mainly coming from the left - the Russia hoax, the myth that Hunter's laptog was "foreign disinformation", the "MAGA hoax", global warming, the exameragions around January 6, etc.

We all live our truth. I'm confident that mine, while not perfect, will hold up over time.
MAGA does not appeal to me because of its authoritarian nature and dependence on conspiracy theroies to sustain itself. The anti intellectualism and white nationalism don't help. I prefer a secular government that promotes the freedom of, and from religion. Win or lose, I love my country. I believe in the rule of law and in the American institutions that hold us together. I believe love wins. I'm not gonna hate people based on who they are or who they love. If you are offended by that, tough.

I understnad DEI very well. Here is an article on the rot in the Secret Service it has caused:
www.city-journal.org Sean Ono Lennon, son of JOhn Lennon of the Beatles, observed that supporters of DEI were "Dumb Evil Idiots". He got that one right. The current head of the Secret Service once served on Joe Biden's personal detail when he was vice president. This is a political appointment to a job that should not be political.

Little Bobbie is a quota-head DEI fanatic who does not seem to comprehend that the important thing in hiring is getting the people most capable of doing the job. If you set ANY arbitrary criteria other than qualifications to do the job, you get a less qualified workforce. If you restrict jobs to white males, you will get a less qualified workforce because invariably there will be some women, some blacks, some Hispanics who can do the job better than the lowest tier of the protected class. Positions in the Secret Service, and all government positions, should be open to everyone to apply, but selection should be strictly based on those with the best ability to do the job. It is clear that the Secret Service under Biden, like the FAA, is hiring based on quotas instaed of qualifications and the results show it. Is it going to take a major air diasater to get the quotas out of the FAA? The near misses ought to be enough to set off the alarm bells. Is it going to take a successful assassination to set off the alarm bells?
And it is still an open question, as Elon Musk and Erik Prince point out, or whether this was extreme incompetence or worse.

For now, I'm confining my remarks just to the bad security failure at the Butler, PA event. Having had a lot of experience a long time ago with military matters regarding physical security, it is really hard to imagine how this happened. With the line of sight of the shooter's rooftop with the speaker's stage and the very short range between the two, how did they not secure that rooftop? That should not have gotten by the lowest ranking member of any security team and is unbelievable that it was not a primary part of the security plan. Whether it is incompetence or worse this is gravely concerning.

No, you idiot, it is the fault of hiring by quotas instead of qualifications. When you have to take less qualified people to fill any quota, no matter what the quota is, then you have a less capable organization. That is where DEI is a problem. It is like all the near misses that have been happening with airplanes since the Biden regime started quota hiring air traffic controllers with DEI. We need to always hire the most qualified, no matter who they are. Hiring should be colorblind and only focus on the ability to do the job.

That analysis by Blackwater's founder of the Secret Service mishandling of the security for the Trump rally in Pennsylvania is just devastating. I suspect they will be having to answer a lot of questions from Congress.

Bobbie's tunnel vision is on display again. If he had read the post, he would have known that the DEI issue involved was filling a quota for women leading to unqualified Secret Service officers, and had NOTHING to do with blacks. Bobbie is deflecting by trying to change the discussion to blacks. The issue also had to do with the Secret Service, not the shooter. Is Bobbie smoking something other than a tobacco product?
The problem with DEI is that when you hire people based on quotas instead fo qualifications, you often get people who are not qualified to do the job. Trump rallies have hardly been "all white". There are lots of interviews out there of blacks and Hispanics at Trump rallies. The last line shows Bobbie is still following the talking points of demonizing their opposition. Northing seems to have changed.

Even though Secret Service protection was so bad it almost looks like it was deliberate, the fact that DEI is in the mix means I would have to go with gross incompetence. I hope Trump hires some retired Secret Service agents back from when he was president, to serve as private security and keep an eye on the current Secret Service. Inspector Cleauseau, the "Pink Panther" would seem to fit right in with the DEI Secret Service.
