Roy Cooper backed Biden's open borders and expensive green new deal policies | Eastern NC Now

How soon some forget.  "Radical Roy" Cooper was all-in on most of Joe Biden's wacky projects.  After Biden's disastrous debate performance, Cooper even tried to say Biden had done well in it.  Two issues that particularly come to mind are Biden's open borders policies and green new deal policies, both of which Cooper was totally supportive of.

If Roy Cooper had gotten his way, visitors to the Outer Banks and Cape Fear Coast would have been assaulted by the visual pollution of offshore wind turbines marring the landscape,  When they went home, they would also see the results of that in much higher electric bills.  In spite of that, Cooper's green new deal policies did get us the highest electric rate increase in the southeast.

When it came to open borders, Cooper even vetoed legislation to end sanctuary counties for illegal aliens who had committed crimes here.  That's right Cooper thought that illegal alien criminals should stay here to keep committing crimes, instead of being deported like federal immigration law calls for.
