The planning process exhibited by the Superintendent is woefully inadequate

Must say BH, you are a true humanitarian. Now go get me a watermelon

I think all southerners like fried chickem. I know I do.

As to orientals, it is clearly not just the lower class, given the history of the King of Siam eating the pedigreed dogs Queen Victory sent as a gift.

Orientals? Do the coloreds like fried chicken?

Don't think we have any Haitians around here, Bobbie, at least not yet. If we can vote out the Biden-Harris circus in November, maybe we won't.

Of course some orientals eat dogs and cats, too. There was an incident where Queen Victoria sent two prized pedigreed dogs as presents to the King of Siam, and got back a reply saying "Thank you, they were delicious"

Heard it from a friend did you? Anyone eat a cat? I heard cats were involved. What’s up with that?

Following up on the ineptitude and actual harm being done by local party activities: For the last several weeks I've been hearing this story about the most recent atrocity being performed by an officer of the BC Republican Party. Keep in mind this gang has been running the official party as if it were a PAC for a number of years. For some time now, I have heard some of the nasty stories. During the municipal elections I heard that vice chairwoman myself disparaging several Republican school board members - I voted for one of the people she seems to hate so much and took offence to her vitriol. I've continued to hear lots more of it from other credible people witnessing it being spewed out in public.

This latest story went so far that I figured it just couldn't be true, until I started hearing from some of the people involved. It seems that a family member of a Republican school board candidate entered Republican HQ and encountered the 2nd vice chairperson of the party. This is the person that generally runs the office open to the public. This Jody VC person told the family member that they should vote for Hodges, the Democrat in the race and not the Republican. Think about that. This party officer is at Republican HQs badmouthing the Republican candidate for School District 5 and recommending the Democrat!

Aren't there any checks on this person? Is the committee at large alright with this party disloyalty behavior? None of the other officers think something should be done? I didn't want anything to do with these people well before this, but they are so far rogue now that there is nothing redeemable left. They should be avoided like the plague.

When a foreigner has a baby in the USA, it is just an accident of
geography. It in no way makes that baby a NATURAL sovereign citizen of the USA.

I know that babies born here are given a birth certificate and they are then allowed (after an application) to be recognized as a USA
citizen. But just the fact that an application is needed is fact that they are NOT a NATURAL citizen.

A Natural citizen is one who is born here to parents who are also
citizens. A natural citizen is one who is NOT born here as a dual
citizen. They are Natural citizens because they can NOT be considered anything other.

I hate to say it this way, but its like a puppy born to certified
collies. The puppy is a natural Collie. Natural is the KEY word in the Constitution...and applies ONLY to the office of the Presidency.

Kamala is NOT a Natural Citizen. This is how we end up with a Marxist running for the Presidency. Dont vote for her.

The way Bobbie uses the "R" word, he is trying to become the Al Sharpton of eastern North Carolina. How pathetic. Yes, citizenship by birth alone needs to GO. Few other developed countries have it.

We need to eliminate this anchor baby concept, which is a questionable interpretation of the Constitution anyway. The Supreme Court has never directly ruled on that. Most countries base citizenship on the nationality of the parents, not the location where the child happens to be born. For example, if you have an ancestor who was a German citizen in 1871, you are entitled to German citizenship, but just being born there does not automatically make you a German citizen.

Kamala is what u get when the two parties allow a Non-Natural Born Citizen to run for the Presidency.

Kamala Harris is not even eligible to be President.

She's an anchor baby whose parents were foreigners.

Her parents were here on student visas. Her mom had an expired student visa when Kamala was born.

Kamala grew up in Canada and San Francisco w the Marxist ideals of her parents.

Why are we willing to allow a foreign anchor baby, a dual citizen via application, to occupy the White House?

The closer a nation orbits toward etatism and away from capitalism, the graver the danger. Read more in new essay on Ludwig von Mises’ “Omnipotent Government”.

"The thesis of etatism that the members of the government and its
assistants are more intelligent than the people, and that they know better what is good for the individual than he himself knows, is pure nonsense."
~Ludwig von Mises, Omnipotent Government.

Beaufort Observer wrote:
"The Beaufort County Board of Commissioners and School Board have become textbook examples of administrative government. That is, these members are present during meetings but have abandoned the real work of setting policy and forcing out liberal, socialistic and communist dogma and policy. They leave it up to their hired help."

WHY did you leave out the Washington City Govt. It is as useless as the others you mentioned. ALL THINKING THERE is left up to the City manager who even writes the motions for the clueless council members.

AND whatever became of the public records request by Ceres abt the Housing Authority? The corrupt city ignored those request. That tells yu all u need to know.

Clueless voters are getting what they deserve! Corruption.

I just used the "voter lookup" tool on the NC Board of Elections website to check out David Hudson, and it shows he is a Republican. I seem to recall a snafu at the local board of elections that caused him to have to run as an Unaffiliated instead of in the Republican primary. I wish he had been in the primary because the RINO incumbent T.W. Allen is little more than a pathetic sock puppet for Superintendant Cheeseman. We need school board members who will stand up for parents and taxpayers, not yes-men for the school bureaucrats.

The problem is that we have a majority on the current school board who take orders from Cheeseman. That needs to change. It is the pro-Cheeseman faction that whines about the PAC that has helped fund conservative challengers to the Cheeseman group.

All I care about is if David Hudson is a conservative. How about the two Republicans running. Are they conservative? The two Democrat board members seem to be nice people, but how can anyone be a Democrat these days? Maybe we need an interview with candidates. That goes for county commission candidates too.

To be more clear on school grades. It depends on if you are grading on a curve or not. Clearly, the schools get a very generous curve when compared to students.

The public should be aware that some of the comments on this site are part of an ongoing personal intra party battle. Some of the information presented here needs to be taken in that context. For example:
1. School scores below 40 are counted as an F for schools and are typically counted as an F for students under 60.
2. I do not know if HR has ever been a Democrat, but he obviously has not been a Democrat more than any Republican on the ballot. In this election that would be Randy Walker. Including this election with the one upcoming in two years that would be Frankie Waters.
3. Concerning some of the statements regarding school board members taking orders form a PAC, that all seems to be delusional.
I'm sure there is more, but I'm too lazy and uninterested to look for it. We have plenty of important legitimate issues in this upcoming election. The personal hatred just muddies the water for people trying to inform themselves and turns off many of us that are keeping up with issues. Even though I am very interested in my community, this is the single reason I want nothing to do with local parties.

As I expected, you couldn't name a school rated "F" in Beaufort County because there are none - never has been. So you go back on the attack because that's all you know how to do.

In Beaufort County, there is one absolute truth: All Republicans are not Conservatives, especially many of those connected with the Beaufort County GOP.

Additionally, being a Conservative is not the exclusive domain of the Republican Party.

More importantly, when Hood Richardson joined me on the Beaufort County Commission in 1996, he was indeed a Republican, and even more assuredly, he has always been Conservative, and a practicing one for nearly 28 years.

Any comments to the contrary would suggest either a profound ignorance, or a complete disingenuousness regarding the truth.

Ok - I'll give you a chance to make your case. Name which schools are an "F" currently or ever has been in Beaufort County. HINT _ the answer is none but I'm waiting. This article contains MANY false statements but for now I'll just wait on your answer about "F" schools in Beaufort County.

Time to call bull on the lies of this blog post! Maybe the author (Hood) should read the laws on open meeting laws, I have read and pulled the scores from DPI there was NO F SCHOOLS IN THE COUNTY, Hudson is an independent guess you need to read the laws on changing your party before you file, but Hood you would know as you changed from Democrat to Republican Mabe you should have checked yourself as you recruited him to run. Your argument on community schools is crazy the way the state fund schools. A real conservative would know that but it doesn’t fit your lies. I pray that this county wakes up and unseats you.
