The leftwing is happy over this choice of Thune. The liberal site "Slate" praised him as "the new Mitch McConnell" saying of the three, Thune was most in the mold of McConnell. McConnell himself was in the mold of Benedict Arnold, as Thune will also likely be. A Democrat Senate staffer suggested Thune would be "Paul Ryan 2.0"

Nobody had to "turn on" Thune. He has turned on conservatives as long as he has been in the Senate, and he turned on conservatives long before there was such a thing as MAGA MAGA is your term for populist conservatives, but Thune turned on traditional conservatives, too. The only difference with that quisling McConnell is that Thune is not in Red China's hip pocket like McConnell has been, at least that we know about.

Thune has been a prostitute for the illegal immigration special interests throughout his career. This is a terrible choice. Even in his statement after being elected, Thune limited his comments on helping Trump on immigration issues to helping deport the illegal aliens who have committed crimes.

It is absolutely shameful that there is no transparency so that voters could know which way our elected senators voted. This is a stinky swamp where they hide from voters. Disgusting. Now we have a turd as majority leader who stinks as bad as McConnell.
