Both Gaetz and Bondi are way better picks than Merrick Garland. It's hard to imagine getting worse than Garland.
If I remember correctly, didn't Thom Tillis vote to ratify Garland. It will be interesting to see how the Repub Thune goons approach the Trump nominations.

Maybe some in the leftwing media have wised up. MSNBC's legal analyst called the Bondi nomination "a dangerous and effective choice" - dangerous to the left, of course.
CNN's legal analyst was even more explicit: "Pam Bondi is, without a question, qualified to be Attorney General. She's been a prosecutor for 20 years in Florida. For 8 of those, she was the Attorney General of the state. That's a very big, very complicated job‚ and that level of experience is on par with, or better than most United States Attorneys General that we've seen over the past 50 years or so."

There was NO check on Biden's political abuse of power with that despicable fascist political hack Merrick Garland. Gaetz would have been a much better AG than fascist Garland. Pam Bondi is a fine choice too, and she has as big a "set", metaphorically speaking, as Gaetz to clean up that rotten agency.

Trump has come back quickly with a very strong woman for the AG job, former Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi. She has the backbone to do what needs to be done at DOJ, and IMHO is a better choice than Gaetz was.

The scumbag was that fascist hack Merrick Garland. We need someone strong enough to clean up the badly bent DOJ and FBI. Gaetz was strong enough to do that, which is what matters. There needs to be a very thorough housecleaning at FBI and DOJ, also those woke DEI fools at DOD.

Unfortunately, we have some stupid politicians like Tillis who have not yet figured out that real people are wise to Big Media and do not believe them. Too many of them still dance to Big Media's tune, like the media smears causing Gaetz to withdraw his name as AG nominee. The Biden DOJ, with its reputation for going after Republicans on very weak cases would not even move against Gaetz because the witnesses against him lacked credibility. Yet the partisan Democrat media made his appointment a three ring circus.

The American establishment media wore out its welcome when it went from traditional journalism, where there was balance and objectivity, to what they now call "advocacy journalism" where they take a side and do all they can to push that side. Media credibility has been in decline in polls that measure this every year like Gallup, and the mass media now ranks below Congress in trust of the American people. They did it to themselves. Americans have found alternatives for the untrusted corporate media.

Dr. Oz has a medical degree and long experiecne in the medical field. Lets compare Biden's pick for Chairman of the Board of Economic Advisors. That Biden appointee's undergraduate degree was in music and his graduate degree was in sociology. We saw what happened to our economy with that type of lame advice.
