Comments for Former President Jimmy Carter died today. He was 100

Regardless of politics, one would have to say, to be honest, that he was a great man

Not really a fan of KP, but I have new found respect for her.
I would not shake the hand of the man who tried to kill me or my spouse.

Btw- that act alone is a statement that says more about the truth of what happened Jan.6, and she never said a word.

Since when do u have the right to judge a man who chooses to wear red lace panties? BB have you now chosen the self-serving superiority role of "Karen" of the clothing police? Your self-righteousness knows no bounds.
Someone out there knows who u are and are not pleased with what they see in you.

Karen Pence is a Karen in the modern meaning of that word.

I watched the JC thing on TY and it made me think about a lot of things. I know how transgenderism is such an important issue to many at the BO and this indisputable fact occurred to me:

Karen Pence has a bigger set of balls on her than any other living republican, bar none.
Mike Pence wears red lace panties under his suit.

Steed, Carter visited Americana when he was Governor of Georgia BUT he has never denied or backtracked on his visit to the colony.

From what I've come to understand, President and First Lady Carter both had relatives who lived in Americana. It's truly an interesting historical timeline that is just about forgotten.

I agreed trans women shouldn’t play on women’s teams.

Oh and Stan, that rarified air you breathe, is definitely your own farts. No doubt about it.

I don't think I have seen Bobbie take a position on the right side of any issue. While he rarely comments on economic issues at all, the one he does most often is his support for the hard left / globalist position on the "green energy" madness. The term "green" would seemingly refer to all the "green" that the grifters running it stuff in their own pockets and all the "green" they are gobbling up from the pockets of taxpayers and ratepayers.

Big Bob: What is complex to you is not to me, and never has been.

Ya know, seeing every issue through the ‘own a liberal’ lens just goes to show how whack-a-doodle America has become.
Big Bob is left of center on social issues but right of center on economic issues.

The only disappointment in posting in the BO is reaction to events is completely un encumbered by the thought process. Look it’s a complex world. Nobody has all the answers.

Like I said "Big Bob is the unflappable conscience of the Non Patriot Left," and I might add, in many respects, the Immoral Left.

Stan - I would disagree that anyone who supports genital mutilation of children has any conscience at all.

As the unflappable conscience of the Non Patriot Left, Big Bob serves a most secure position as a perfect foil to all I know to be correct and real.

Stan - Little Bobbie's ludicrous comment about "conservative media" just shows how far to the extreme left and out of touch this dude is. Media bias documented by studies going back well over half a century show the media bias has always been left of center. In the Carter era is was a more moderately liberal bias than the hard left bias it has today. Bobbie is so far off the left end of the spectrum that he falsely sees moderately liberal as "conservative". Heck in the Carter era, I could actually get some real news from the Raleigh News and Observer even though I had to wade through the slant. Now that is hopeless with that rag and so many others.

Big Bob: There was NO conservative media in those days; there were just few to none Democratic Socialist Propagandists.

JC was nt a great president, but he was much better than the conservative media made him out to be. I'm sure there we a lot of reasons fo this (none of them good) but in the end he stood for what matters.

All the rest is just fluff.

Before the advent of Biden, the polling showed Jimmy Carter was regarded as the worst president in memory, but with the perspective of what Biden has done, or at least what has been done in his name by whoever actually runs his administration, it is much easier to see that Carter actually had some good points, as have been mentioned. Heck, it is possible that if Biden had still had his mental faculties for the last four years, he might well have not been as bad as those pulling his strings have made things. I think one big difference is that Carter always in his own mind meant well, but that has not been the case of those who have been pulling Biden's strings. Carter was not a full blown globalist. Those pulling Biden's puppet strings are.

Jimmy Carter was roundly considered the most ineffective president of modern times until the election of Barack Hussein Obama - America's First Socialist President and America's First Non Patriot President - created the cool factor for vapid Democratic Socialists to jump on that roaring, rolling Leftist Train of Non Patriots; a non patriot juggernaut that has now driven the Democratic Socialist party to a point of eventual ruin.

Idiot President Biden, America's Second Socialist President and America's Second Non Patriot President, but America's First Idiot President subsequently evolved these devious and incredibly dangerous sociological/political practices, with his administration and his well formed Biden Crime Family, the Idiot President as the titular head, incredibly corrupt to the point of pure evil forged unto a terrible political level; thus allowing America NOW a renewed reverent perspective on the Presidency of Jimmy Carter; a Liberal with a clean, clear, consistent, and patriotic conscience; uncommon among all Democratic Socialists today.

One of Jimmy Carter's positive accomplishments was his leadership of the Commission on Federal Election Reform, a bi-partisan effort to address some of the weaknesses in American elections that were highlighted in the 2000 Bush - Gore election. Two of the more significant recommendations of that commission was the need for photo voter ID and that mail-in ballots should be as limited as possible since they are the most prone to voter fraud. Today's Republicans continue to support the Carter commission's recommendations on both subjects. Today's Democrats, however, are vehemently on the opposite side of Carter on both issues.

Few Americans are even aware of Americana, Brazil, a city founded by thousands of refugees from the Confederate State of America who moved there after the end of the War Between the States. Unlike so many of today's "progressive" (more like Maoist) Democrats, Jimmy Carter respected the heritage of all Americans. That is a trait that is badly missing today as the "progressives" frequently attack our history and our heritage.

I was not aware that Carter had visited Americana, but good for him. Thank you for bringing that up, JV

President Jimmy Carter enforced our immigration laws, and for that alone, he was head and shoulders above what we have had for the last four years. His foreign and economic policies may have been a disaster and he let our military decline precipitously, but we have to salute his service in standing up for our immigration laws.

Mr. Jimmy was the only president, in my opinion, that wasn't ashamed of were he came from.

His visit to Americana, Brazil spoke volumes about his knowledge of true history as well as his rooted lineage. Alongside of that, in a 1978 speech in California, he praised both MLK Jr and General Robert E. Lee....in plain English.

There ain't Democrats like Mr. Jimmy anymore, in that sense.
