Just written: Resolution in Support of the Department of Governmental Efficiency (DOGE)

Gary, have you received the public records regarding the Housing Authority you requested from the City of Washington?

If not, have you reapplied for the records, or have you given up on getting the truth out of local Govt?

We could start with an audit of the Housing Authority.

John: Just reading your comment. I am in full agreement: "DOGE For Beaufort County."

I've talked with several people who are, for a lack of better words, pissed off about how some of our Commissioners treated the public during the property tax hearing. They acted like they could give two s***s and that isn't sitting well with quite a few county residents.

When asked about a County DOGE effort, they unanimously said: "Hell yeah, we'd get behind that! These people ain't Gods!"

If enough heat is applied and the public continues to see that their money is being pissed away to support the lifestyles of the so-called County El-ites, there's no telling where this thing will go.

If anyone stands in the way of government transparency, they've got some to hide.

Does anyone here know of an administrative attorney who is not afraid to challenge the City, County, State Govt for wrong doing?
Dp we have to go to Durham to employ one?
Does anyone want to join a class action lawsuit?

Gary, there is a new "sheriff in town" in the State Auditor's office. You might want to renew your complaint there.

I followed up numerous times and even contacted the State Auditor.

I would like to see them dragged in front of the Board of Commissioners to explain what happened to the money.

Washingtonian:

Over 2 years of non-compliance from the Housing Authority. They have not turned over a single reciept that was requested.

Hello Gary,
The last I heard from you, you had a made a formal request to the City of Washington for Housing Authority public records.
What became of that? Did you get the records? If not, why? Persistence is required when something is important.
Inquiring minds need to know.
Thank you.

Thanks Gary. It will be a constant topic here.

An offshoot of DOGE in federal government is DOGE in Beaufort County government.

I have already begun such.

Well, NO. The racist is Bigot Bob 2.0.

Cutting government fraud and waste helps all citizens and taxpayers except those scamming the government.

John: You have struck the anvil hard with the perfect hammer of truth.

I hope someday soon our paths may cross, and we may together form a consensus of strength to forge the proper path forward the better truth that lights the way toward the reward of spiritual prosperity.

We went to war with England over taxes and lack of representation. Carlo Cipolla, an economic historian, noted that absolute monarchs never drew more than 5-8% of their nation’s income in taxes but today our federal government extorts between 40-60% in direct and indirect taxes. This trickles down through all levels of government. We need a fundamental change in Beaufort County that will destroy the current system that has produced bad and ugly, self-serving politicians and restore a government that allows for the development of, and is run by, statesmen. This is what a liberty-based society is built upon, as originally envisioned by our founding fathers and spelled out in the founding documents. The essence of a liberty-based society is that it has limited government, sound money, low taxes and is based on the free and unfettered consent of the governed. This has not existed in America for more than a century and a half. It doesn’t have to remain this way in our county, state or country. The population is starting to wake up and realize this. We also need a School Board that stands up to a leftist Superintendent who prioritizes indoctrination over actual education so that our children don’t grow up misguided and susceptible to the continued abuse inflicted upon our population by self-serving politicians and bureaucrats. IT IS TIME FOR OVERDUE, MUCH NEEDED, CHANGE! BRING ON DOGE! I encourage everyone to attend the Commissioner’s meeting Monday, March 10th at 5:30 and make your voices heard.

Concerned Taxpayer: I don't know who you are because of your alias, but your words here make a lot of sense to me, especially now that I see how my property value has gone up so much, and I am not alone here.

Why don't you, the person behind Concerned Taxpayer, run for the county commission, so we can get some much needed help for Stan and Hood. I hope that Tandy fellow will eventually be as effective as the Stan/Hood duo, but as you probably already know, we need at least 4 real Republicans on that board to stop the terrible wasteful spending on the county commission.

The unelected oligarchs are the Deep State beaucrats, and DOGE is reining them in. We have needed soemthing like DOGE for a long time. Trump campaigned on doing this to sort out the waste and fraud in our government, and the people voted for that. This is the Deep State bureaucrats versus the people and the polling reflects that. Cry us a river, Little Bobbie. USAID is a good example of how out of control these despicable Deep State bureaucrats are. They were spending hundreds of millions to promote censorship of conservative and to promote globalist ideology. Screw those jerks all the way to the unemployment line. Maybe Soros will hire them, directly this time.

Big Bob 2.0 wants America Woke Again (AWA).

DOGE is a good thing. The federal government has usurped the power of the people and the sovereignty of the individual states for more than 150 years. Bureaucrats and career politicians have fattened themselves at the expense of the American people. We need a return to constitutional government based on the free and unfettered consent of the people carried out by leaders with intellect and common sense . The Tenth Amendment to our Constitution states: "The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people." It is time to significantly reduce the size of the federal government, return the powers to the people and states, and follow a pragmatic course that eliminates fraud, waste and abuse that exist throughout the bloated bureaucracy of the federal government.
