Darren Armstrong's latest "birds of a feather"? The liberal school board challengers, Monica Davis and Jennifer Cornelius. If you walk by Armstrong's tent at early voting at the Board of Elections, he has signs up for both of them. We already knew about his close alliance with RINO Frankie Waters.

Here is another telling detail on Armstrong and his special interest fixation. The out of state chemical company that Darren Armstrong wants to protect from lawsuits by injured North Carolinians is Monsanto. Guess whose genetically modified seeds Darren Armstrong produces at his seed operation? Monsanto. Funny thing, that!

Kidwell was a Trump delegate to the 2016 Republican National Convention, not a Cruz delegate. Get your facts straight, Washingtonian.
Nominating a RINO like former Marc Basnight Democrat retread Darren Woolard will not heal any rift in the party

Kidwell is so ignorant that he supported Ted Cruz for President, despite the fact that Cruz showed us all, his Canadian Birth Certificate.
Kidwell and Garris with the Secret Committee, are ruining our local vibes. Such actions are from the minds of a dictator mentality. JUST SAY NO to KIDWELL so we can heal the rift in Beaufort County.

Self-interested politician? That describes Darrell Armstrong. All he wants to talk about is his own industry, Big Ag. His website, his ads, and his comments at public functions are all about farming and darn little else. He is a "johnny one note" on his own industry. I cannot imagine anything more self serving.
Kidwell is ax accountant and tax preparer. He talks about real world issues in his campaign, not his own personal livlihood. We need a legislator who cares about our issues, not just his own. Armstrong is all about Big Ag and nothing else. That is totally self-serving.

Washingtonian, you sound just like Obama or AOC. All about "change" while obscuring what you would be changing to.
The man of the Raleigh RINO elite in that race is named Dareen Armstrong. That is who recruited him to run. That is who is pushing his candidacy, like with all the postcards of an endorsement from liberal Raleigh uber-RINO Steve Troxler. Armstrong is the one a big special interest PAC from Raleigh is pumping gobs of money into the race. Kidwell and the Freedom Caucus have been the Raleigh RINO elite's worst nightmare, which is why they and the special interests are trying to get rid of him. It is unforturnate that there are useful idiots locally who go along with the Raleigh RINOs and special interests.. Lets not forget that Armstrong's political history is as a Marc Basnight Democrat while Kidwell's is as a Trump Republican. If you cannot comprehend the significance of that difference, I am sorry. Right now the NC House seems to be turning its back on its former RINOism. Speakers Thom Tillis and Tim Moore were uber-RINOs. The current Speaker is much more open to conservatives and is standing up to the Senate RINO cabal led by Phil Berger. That is why Berger send Jimmy Dixon to recruit challengers to the six top leaders of the Freedom Caucus. It is all about the RINOs getting back control, and that is what Armstrong is part of.

The YOUTH are going to vote to replace the old tired self-serving politicians such as KIDWELL.
He's a politician's politician! A man of Raleigh's elitist. Our local Republican Party cannot heal until we ... Just SAY NO TO KIDWELL and the Garris' Secret Committee.

As usual, Washingtonian is firing blanks.
"Money interests"??? If you go through Kidwell's contributions on the State Board of Elections website, you will find NO registered lobbyists and NO special interest PACs. For an incumbent legislator to have none of those contributions means he is NOT in the pocket of any of the lobbyists or special interests. He does not even get the token contributions from big support buyers like Duke Energy so that legislators will at least talk to their lobbyists. Among individual contributions, Kidwell has a lot more regular people and a lower average contribution than Armstrong. He also gets support from a much wider variety of people. On the other hand, a major special interest is dumping tons of money into the district to try to buy the seat for Armstrong. That Big Ag special interest PAC is flooding out mailboxes with mailers. No special interest is doing that for Kidwell. Also if you look at Armstrong's individual contributions, a very large part of them come from one special interest. Your big money special interest guy, Washingtonian, is Armstrong and political contribution records plus our mailboxes prove it beyond a shadow of a doubt.

If you like the special interests, RINO Darren Armstrong is your man, Washingtonian. You have a bad case of Kidwell Derangement Syndrome. If you were at the legislative debate at the Washington Civic Center you would have heard Armstrong defend a failed bill to protect out of state chemical companies from lawsuits by local North Carolinians who get cancer from their products, in which they knowingly used a cancer causing substance without telling customers. Is protecting out of state chemical companies from local people who get cancer from their products your idea of helping local people? Those who recruited Armstrong to run against Kidwell were people aligned with that chemical company. Seems to me that that big out of state chemical company is the "money interest" there and it is Armstrong who is on their side.
Then there were the big money interests who tried to put our eastern NC shrimpers out of business. Ask a shrimper. It was Kidwell who led the successful charge in the NC House to save this industry and all the local "little people" who earn their living in it from the money interests. Oh, and guess what? If you look up the address of the PAC mailing out all those postcards for Armstrong, it just so happens to be the same address as one of the two big money groups trying to put our shrimpers out of business. Armstrong is a warmed over Basnight Democrat. He was never a conservative. He would be one of those go along / get along establishment hacks if he ever got to Raleigh. NC has way too many of those already and does not need another one.

BULL! Kidwell is a politician who represents the "money interest."
His ad on TV shows that he thinks of himself as part of a KINGDOM of self-serving politicians who he values more than the simple local voters that go to him with simple local needs. He doesnt have time for people like that. He isnt even willing to hear them out. He's too important to be bothered by little people problems. All of them makes him the worse kind of Representative, he has forgotten what its like to be one of the people. He would rather rub elbows with the king makers. We NEED NEW PEOPLE. After a couple of years every politician becomes stale and corrupted. Kidwell is one of those. He proved it when he "demanded" the resignation of a couple of locals that we the people chose to represent us. He actually thought that he could control and shape our community into the image HE DESIRED. He has gotten too big for his britches. RETIRE KIDWELL. Maybe then we can fix what is wrong w our Beaufort Co. GOP Committee

Just say NO to former Basnight Democrat retread Darren Armstrong. He and his Raleigh RINO pals Troxler, Dixon, and Berger only serve the special interests like out of state chemical companies that give North Carolinians cancer and don't want to be sued for it, and radical environmentalists who want to shut down our shrimping industry. Kidwell was one of the central figures in stopping the shutdown of the shrimpers and stopping the bill to protect that chemical company from lawsuits by local people. Kidwell represents the people. Armstrong would represent the special interests.

We need to watch out on this here in North Carolina because the RINOs led by Phil Berger put us on this path, too, with the total Senate rewrite of HB951 a few years ago. It sets CO2 targets even more severe than the European Union's "Green Deal". Phil Berger gave NC a Green New Deal that is worse than Europe's. He is AOC without the skirt.
That is why I am really pulling for the primary defeat of Berger next month and the primary defeat of all of his affiliated candidates like Carren Armstrong here.
