Those local GOP squawkers lack perception in this as well as many other things. If they would stop attacking my friends and keep their grubby hands out of my pocketbook I would leave them alone.

Like Ronnie said, "Southern Man don't need [them] around anyhow." and "All I can do is write about it."

The local GOP has an ad on the radio now using the chairperson's voice. In this one she mentions the sheriff race, the congressional race and two local judge candidates. Meanwhile, the local GOP is using a Facebook and shadowy whisper campaign against general election conservative Republicans, specifically in the county commission race. Their agenda is not aboveboard and is not party oriented. In a general election a party should be pushing the vote for their party's candidates as a whole. These wayward party leaders seem to dislike conservative Republicans more than they dislike Democrats.

My take on many of these people running amuck in the local Party is that they really seem to lack maturity, but even worse is their total disconnection from basic ethics. Some of them are just plain mean. Barring a miracle at the next convention there is a very good chance this bunch has absolutely destroyed the local GOP.

I'm going to keep on voting for conservatives no matter what happens with this stupid party stuff.

I was having a conversation with a fellow veteran of the Psychic Wars (BÖC reference) the other morning and we both agreed on that the support of data centers and flock cameras will be a major deal breaker and have been deal breakers in the 2026 midterm...it's as meat and potatoes as you can get.

I completely disagree with the statement that Data Centers will lower taxes and bring jobs to the community; it's a damn sales pitch for something folks ain't buying. The average working family can't afford a $250-300k starter home in Beaufort County along with $4,000 property taxes; it's insanity and y'all know it.

The schools are shit and, again, people are going elsewhere but no one wants to really talk about WHY these trends are continuing. The autocrats are going to box themselves in a corner and then fight each other until they're all gone.

Since it has been reported to me by Beaufort County GOP insiders that the current executive committee have been, and are working against my Conservative candidacy, I am in dire political need as I humbly request the support of all real conservative Republican, Democrat, and Independent voters here in Beaufort County.

"Limited voting" is the election system for the county, not the city. It was imposed on the county by an all Democrat board of commissioners as part of a settlement in a lawsuit, The citizens had nothing to do with its establishment. "Limited voting" is the same system that the Communist Chinese proposed for Hong Kong in their negotiations with the British for the handover, and the British rejected as totally undemocratic. We are stuck with the same totally undemocratic system here.

This post is about the negative impact of illegal alien migrants in France, not the US, Bob.

French history shows that to put down an insurrection, it takes firm action. The example is the suppression of the Paris Commune of 1871. France had lost the Franco-Prussian War with a crushing defeat at the Battle of Sedan and Emporer Napoleon III captured. As a provisional government tried to make peace with Prussia, socialists rose up in Paris, took over the city, and declared it a commune. The provisional government, soon to become the Third Republic, took firm action, marching the French Army into Paris with robust rules of engagement. Thousands were killed, some estimates as high as 20,000. That is the way to put down an insurrection.

It is being reported that at least 5,000 have been arrested in these migrant student riots. They all need very severe sentences, and both they and their families need to be deported. If some of them have gained French citizenship, strip that from them first. If they riot again, send in the French army with robust rules of engagement.
