Steed Part II: I'm not going to get too cranked up here as you have a right to your own opinion BUT, and there is a BUT, we're going to go deep in the sheol of things, as they are.

The old guard's caught up in the "short-term" and playing checkers down at King Chicken. The younger guard's playing 5D chess in 8-10K resolution; they're seeing more "long term" and calling $*** out for what it is from an unbiased standpoint.

The attitude that you're showing in defending Kidwell reflects, I believe, a sentiment that's no longer SOP (standard operating procedure). Though you don't like it not do you see the strategic advantage present, North Carolina still has a way to save a key piece of the strategic operation center of the GOP; the Virginia GOP pulled a "Robinson 2.0" with Earle-Sears late in the fourth quarter. The conservative unaffiliated voters, like in NC, put the GOP in check and made party strategists look like the idiots they are.

Bad actors, public polls and common sense..👌

It sure looks like we have a ringer - a stealth Democrat running as a Republican in Washington for school board. Is the same thing going on in Bath?

Just SAY NO to KIDWELL who conspires with Garris to manipulate us Local Yokels on everything that is local business, but wont assist the people of this district with local needs.

VOTE for a FRESH NEW Generation, who has never run for public office before. Vote for a FARMER, Darren Armstrong, who is more closed connected to the needs of real humans.

And remember this folks, if a person tells lies about a new GOP
candidate, in order to build up a favorable image of an old incumbent, then that person cant be trusted on anything.

Give HOPE a CHANCE: VOte Out the old tainted politicians and in with the NEW.

It is way past time to "flip the Berger". In the state senate, Berger has replaced conservatism with prostitution to the corrupt special interests. The special interests pay him and he uses that money to dominate the GOP caucus in the senate so he can deliver favors to the special interests. It is a sickening scam that needs to end.

Unfortunately, just defeating Berger will not drive a stake through the heart of his corrupt system. Berger's inner circle will take over and go right back to operating the same way."Meet the new boss, same as the old boss." Most of the others in the senate beyond the inner circle are weak "go along / get along" types who will not rock the boat. That is what Berger tries to bring into the senate when a seat opens up. There are too few willing to stick their head up and challenge the Berger way.

Berger has been using special interest House "fixer" Jimmy Dixon to try to replace House conservatives with similar "go along / get along" types in the House, targeting the six leaders of the conservative House Freedom Caucus for replacement. We have one of those battles right here in our own district, where Berger's henchman Dixon travelled to Beaufort County last September to recruit Darren Armstrong to challenge Keith Kidwell. It was one of multiple similar trips Dixon made around the state for Berger.

It is absolutely critical that the Supreme Court act to end this nonsense of "birthright citizenship". No other industrialized country has it, and for good reason. The authors of the Constitutional amendment that some say creates birthright citizenship clearly said that it did not at the time the amendment passed.

This is just another threat of Chinese infiltration, like the hordes they sent over Biden's open border.

Victims of illegal alien criminals who have been harmed by those released by sanctuary states should be able to sue whatever official released them for their damages. Constitutionally, I do not believe they could sue the state of Virginia, but I wonder if we could pass a law in North Carolina that would allow them to sue a local official like a sheriff who released an illegal alien criminal instead of honoring the iCE detainer in a North Carolina court? That might get the attention of these sanctuary sheriffs.

JV, the hate is strong in you, isn't it? I don't vote on emotion. I rationally look at issues. The main job of a legislator is to represent us in Raleigh, and Kidwell has been a solid conservative there. I do not want to replace him with a Frankie Waters clone, even though I do wish that Kidwell would be less engaged in the local party. That seems to detract too much from his solid work in Raleigh. And who knows but that the Frankie Waters clone might not be also engaging in party activty locally, too.

I ask you to come up with an issue, and you zoom off into outer space with a wild accusation of Kidwell being a "Christian Zionist", something I can see no basis for in his legislative record or his actions locally. Did you see MTG's "Jewish space lasers" while you were zooming around out there?

You are right Van Zant on so many levels using Conservative Adam O'Neal as an example to manifest the contrasting elements of the RINOs, which that have long infested the Beaufort County GOP's, constant fight against all real Conservatives that work together as a team, of which Adam is one.

Adam O'Neal was an early member of of the modern day Beaufort County GOP, where we built the party into an apparatus that would help Real Republican candidates get elected. Now, the present day GOP works to elect RINOs and RINO Whisperers, while lending sanctuary to the wanton RINOs on the Beaufort County Commissioners; those who have cost Beaufort County Tax Payers tens millions of tax dollars in terrible RINO /Democratic Socialist policy, thereby instituting an political environment that foments the waste, fraud and abuse that has, and will continue to plague Beaufort County tax payers until we, Conservatives, can finally take over the Beaufort County Commission as that Conservative majority that is warranted and badly needed.

The local GOP's record of creating that political environment, where capable Republicans, Real Republicans, serving on the Beaufort County School Board is equally abysmal. Here the RINOs, and the RINO Whisperers on the Beaufort county GOP are just as active in working against these Real Republicans, Conservatives, as they have shown they are capable in working against the Conservatives on the Beaufort County Board of Commissioners, in which there are three out of four commissioners now serving.

It is a sorry story of these incapable hacks playing at politics, while knowing nothing of what real governing constitutes in its essential state, how it works, and how it works well. RINOs and RINO Whisperers will never be the answer to remedying this sorry state of political player plaguing We, the self-governed People, of Beaufort County.

Steed: I seem to have struck a nerve with you and you obviously became triggered by certain words/phrases; you didn't read anything else. If you did, you'd rethink your argument points as they make you sound like a sheep who drinks poured Kool Ai, I damn sure didn't vote for Biden. I supported Trump in 2016 and even in 2020 BUT I started questioning both Trump AND the GOP when they started kissing the asses of the Zionist EL-eats and giving them carte blanche to do whatever in the hell they want.....without question or opposition. If you question Israel, you get labeled as an "anti-Semitic" for calling out people who aren't even what they claim to be; they do that to escape international courts. This ain't a bull$*** conspiracy theory here; it's fact that the old guard GOP absolutely will not discuss in any capacity.

Kidwell is either a Christian Zionist/National Socialist who is using "MAGA Conservatism" as a way to grift a mainly braindead voter base OR he's an idiot sellout.

CT: I think you've hit the nail on the head. It appears that Monica Davis and the Walkers have much in common politically. Steve Rader is clearly the conservative in this race.

Stan: We might need Sigmund Freud and a team of psychiatrists to answer that one.

I can only guess. Adam has a distinguished record as a Republican in Beaufort County. It's my understanding that early on he worked within the local Republican Party and played a big role in party building in this county. More recently he holds the distinction of being a multi-term Republican mayor of a Beaufort County town with a high percentage of minorities. That tells me he earned a lot of trust from his constituents.

I suppose it's been a while since Adam has actually worked in the local party infrastructure. I'm wondering if that might be some of their problem. Many of these recent party leaders that have parachuted in from parts afar and are allied with their recent Democrat scalawag friends seem to be control freaks. Dictators at heart and willing to use any means to do it. They show that with their constant attacks in the form of dishonest and illegal party actions against Republican Party activists they do not like. Adam O'Neal is a strong Republican, but he is not in that party infrastructure at this time in his life. Since they could not go after him from the party infrastructure direction, it seems they tried a strategy of deceitful character assassination. They went that way since they could not control him within the party using their usual disgusting methods.

I guess the short answer is they do not like anything they cannot control. That's all my guess. There is no guessing about the vile actions of a group of party leaders as they attack good Republicans by misusing their positions within the party. There is no guessing there. These are facts.

I'm open to other interpretations of what makes these corrupt people tick.

The is another issue on these retired teachers recruited to run for school board by Carolyn Walker. Are they really Republicans? I am not sure which the Bath candidate is, but in Washington it is clearly Monica Davis.

I looked Monica Davis' voting history up on the Board of Elections website. She first registered to vote in Beaufort County in 1990 as a Democrat and then for years regularly voted in Democrat primaries. The first year Davis voted in a Republican primary was 2024. The question is - why has this longtime Democrat suddenly become a Republican, at least on paper?

I then looked up incumbent Steven Rader. He first registered in Beaufort County in 1978 as a Republican, and has consistently voted in Republican primaries ever since.

Carolyn Walker and her husband, Randy, were both longtime Democrats themselves before changing to Republican a few years ago. In spite of being registered Republican, both of them, in the offices in which they serve, too often take positions on issues one would expect of a Democrat, not a Republican. Are these teachers Mrs. Walker recruited going to be just more of the same?

WE get it, JV. You vote on personality, not issues. Could you name one actual ISSUE where you think Armstrong'a position is better than Kidwell's???? One actual ISSUE???? Not personality, ISSUE.

You sound like those who refused to vote for Trump due to his personality, even though they agreed with him on the issues. People thinking that way gave us Biden. Were you one of them?

In looking at the viewpoints representing those of the "old guard" GOP in this thread, it doesn't take long to figure out what the main problem is here:

Certain minds are beyond pissed that Berger/Dixon/whoever in the hell are capitalizing on the public's TRUE view of Kidwell to remove him from his complacent office in Raleigh.

It's politics; hidden agendas on top of hidden agendas counteracting each other BUT there are good people, on both sides of the aisle, who cringe whenever they hear his name. 9 times outta 10, it's because he's an a$$hole and wants everyone to know how great he is. Contrary to popular belief, that doesn't go over well with most people.

Also, I'm seeing a pattern between Kidwell and some of those who believe him to do no wrong:

They're usually narcissistic a$$holes themselves and are resistant to anything that takes their perception of control away....even if it's needed for Mr. & Mrs. John Q. Taxpayer to wake up and smell what they're being shoveled.

These radical left groups want to keep all the illegal aliens that the treasonous Biden regime allowed in with its open borders. That includes the violent criminal gang Tren de Aragua, which was not in the US until Biden let them in. Those responsible for subverting our immigration laws under Biden should be prosecuted and jailed.

We have retired teachers running for our school board in the Washington and Bath districts. Have they ever been members of these radical teachers unions, the NEA or NCAE? Both are running against conservative incumbents and were recruited by RINO Carolyn Walker tp try to move the school board to the left. Beaufort County does NOT need a present or former member of a radical teachers union on our school board.

Great ad on Phil Berger, who is certainly an Undocumented Democrat and downright whore for the special interests. It will be a blessing to see him gone. The sad thing is that it will not change too much in the senate. One of Berger's lieutenants with the same mindset will take over, and probably function just like Berger. They have filled the senate with too many politically inexperienced "yes men" and "yes women" in their candidate recruitment from Raleigh to expect any different.

Last primary season, Berger inserted two of his people onto the Council of State, and this election, he is trying to insert his people into the state House, using Jimmy Dixon as his front man. He has also interfered into our congressional primary because he wants to stop one of the candidates who dared to stand up against him in the state senate.

The self-proclaimed "real Republicans" are everything they claim others are: It's hypocrisy. It's worse than hypocrisy. I also believe there is not much these people are not capable of in the form of perniciousness.

I wish Adam O'Neal the best in defending himself against the fake party attack (by the so called "real Republicans") by way of that tape paid for by the county Republican Party but not authorized by the Republican Party Executive Committee. The Chairperson and the Treasurer would have a lot of explaining to do in any legitimate organization. It's been months and there are still no explanations in this committee led by swindler party officers. In an above-board organization, that would not be appropriate. These crooks are furiously working to sweep all this under the rug, leaving a trail of new attacks on more innocent people. The trail of mistreated local Republicans is getting longer and longer.

Just months ago, there was the uncalled-for bullying of a Republican School Board member. A few years ago, there was the false party charges on a now sitting member of the County Commission. It took outside arbitration to clear this innocent Republican from the viciousness of these people. Now it's two innocent county executive committee members. One is a vice chairperson.

The scoundrels that "Brandon" represents are not interested in a united Republican Party. He said as much in his statement. A successful party to them is to excommunicate everyone that is not in their crowd. These people have a long history of using noxious tactics in their quest to purge the party of everyone not conforming to their lawlessness, their lack of adherence to the Republican Party platform for guidance in governance, and their outright hatefulness.

What they have created is not a strong party. They have created an exclusive party. They have created a corrupt party.

Van Sant….or should we say Adam ONeal….Your ilk has done more to destroy the Republican Party in this County more than Democrats could dream to do.

Youre followers have been used and fooled by you and Hoods personal vendettas and is quite sad.

The Beaufort County Republican Party is so much stronger without you and Hoods anger for self-promotion.

Go enjoy Belhaven ! The real Republicans are in charge!
