Commented on 59% of illegal alien households in US are on welfareWell, there are two groups violating out immigration laws. The ones who enter, and the ones who hire them. How is it moral to ignore those who exploit and benefit from this system?

To watch that video of AfD leader Alice Weidel, you have to go to the Rumble link near the end of the post. The video insert at the top does not work. The link has English translation subtitles. Or here it is again: rumble.com

Commented on 59% of illegal alien households in US are on welfareBob, how it is moral or ethical to give those who willfully and wantonly break our immigration laws and lie to our officials about fake asylum claims preference over those on waiting lists who have applied properly and sit and wait properly and legally in their home countries for what immigration slots we may have available? Those on the waiting lists are properly vetted on criminal bankground, and fully examined medically, and they are trying to do it the right and legal way. Why should they be at the back of the bus behind lawbreakers?
When I ran a program in Moldova I had an employee who applied to come to the US as a legal immigrant. He had worked for years for an American organization and handled our accounting, complying both with Moldovan and US laws. His wife was a law student, and they both were very fluent in English. There were limited slots for immigration from Moldova and a long waiting list unless he scored on the "visa lottery" where he had no luck. Finally, he applied to Canada instead. The Canadians found their economy needed his accounting skills but required him to pass the Test of English as a Foreign Language, which is a difficult test but he passed on the first try. He and his wife had to take comprehensive medical exams and undergo an extensive background check, both of which they passed with flying colors. He is now a citizen of Canada living in Alberta, working as an accountant, and his wife went back to school, changing her major and is now working in Canada as well. When I think of people like him who tried legally and were unsuccesful, but Biden is letting in a raft of Venezuelan prostitutes who are unvetted lawbreakers, it is very frustrating. How in the world can you justify letting in arrogant, self-entitled lawbreakers in preference to those you go through the expensive and timeconsuming, and often unsuccessful process to come legally?

Commented on Oklahoma bans DEI in all state institutionsThe perspective that is the gold standard is actually from a prominent black leader, Dr. Martin Luther King who declared that people "should be judged by the content of their character, not the color of their skin". Anyone who looks at people through the prism of race is a racist whether it is on the DEI side or the KKK side. Same difference, Bigot Bob.

Merry Christmas to all Americans, who consider themselves Independent thinkers, but do not have the time to pay close attention to the details of what it means to be under the Leftist control of an Executive Branch that has neglected to follow their sworn commitment to the Constitution, this report of truly ignorant behavior is for you.
The New Year is close at hand, so please try to do better by your fellow countrymen, and if you can divert your attention from all that is your kettle of distractions for any meaningful measure of time, please try to pay better attention in the coming year.

The thing that tells me all I need to know is that there are people wanting to remove a monument to reconciliation.
To reconcile is to conciliate or make friendly again. It is to bring into accord as in settling or composing a difference. It is to harmonize, to bring into harmony. The flip side of reconciliation is agitation, confusion, alienation, and disruption. Other ingredients in this particular issue are disrespectfulness and hatefulness bringing about more alienation and furthering the other negative conditions listed. Removing the monument to reconciliation from Arlington National Cemetery is a real bad idea.

Commented on Oklahoma bans DEI in all state institutionsThe concept and practice of divide and conquer has been around for a long time. Modern-day race hucksters are selling racism with a new twist. Contemporary power-mongers engage in this strategy just as much as their predecessors. They love perpetual bigotry because it gives them power to exert over others while making the others weaker because they are divided. The diabolic notion of inclusion while simultaneously excluding and Balkanizing is something we see everywhere nowadays. Beware DEI. The dictionary definitions of these words are not bad things. The modern-day use of these words can mean something else entirely. Be aware that there are people working very hard to control you.

Commented on 59% of illegal alien households in US are on welfareFunny thing, Big Boy, I have been in a fair number of fast food restaurants here and elsewhere, and what I see working there are Americans, black and white. On the other hand, the couple of times I have been to the Emergency Room, I have seen quite a number of illegal aliens mooching health care and driving up the health care costs of Americans.

Commented on ‘Fully Backed By Iran’: Terrorists Strike Multiple Cargo Ships With Missiles In Red SeaSuggest you seek some deprograming from your climate alarmist cult, the biggest doowmsday cult in history. Only those who benefit from it either in power or money or the really mindless lemmings believe that crap. Those charlatans keep putting out all sorts of dire warnings and dozens of them have passed the time by which they were supposed to have happened. NOT A SINGLE ONE OF THEM HAS HAPPENED or even come close. Only a brainwashed fool would keep believing their spiel.

Commented on ‘Fully Backed By Iran’: Terrorists Strike Multiple Cargo Ships With Missiles In Red SeaThe world is geologicly dying from global warming. Instead of saving the planet humans will most definitely destroy it. The U.S. can't help fight everyone's battles. We will get stretched to thin to adequately protect our own Homeland. Where making more and more of enemies globally. I do believe we will be hit with a large stateside terrorist attack possibly larger than 9-11. My opinion, thank you.

Commented on 59% of illegal alien households in US are on welfareIf you bothered to read the linked article or even look at the chart in the post, Bobbie, you would know that the numbers are broken out specifically program by program for welfare, and the 59% number is for those who are on at least one of the different welfare programs. But you always seem to shoot from the hip instead of looking at facts and details.
I am most familiar with the seafood packing plants we used to have in eastern North Carolina, now mostly gone. Several decades ago they paid on a piece work rates, and those who got good at the repetitive process could make good money. In those days, most of the employees were black American ladies. Then the owners switched to low hourly wages and brought in illegal aliens to do the work. The black ladies lost their decent paying jobs, and before long the plants themselves started closing. A contractor I knew had a girlfriend who managed one of them. This is an example of what too often happens to American jobs from illegal immigration. I had a former client who some years ago worked in a local chicken packing plant, and at that time most of the workers were like him, black American males. That has been years ago, and I have no idea if that plant has now gone the way of the seafood packing plants, but perhaps it has. What part of "illegal" do you not understand. People who break the law should not be mollycoddled. There are lots of people who are applying to immigrate legally that we do not have room for. If we have extra immigration slots, they should go to those on the waiting lists who are applying legally, not to scoflaws who wantonly break our immigration laws. Years ago, we had a legal and organized system of foreign migrant workers who applied for the program, had supervision, and went home when their work assignments were completed. It was called the Bracero program, but it was killed by the Democrats to butter up their labor union buddies. That would be a good program to have back.

Biden is just borrowing a trick from his role model, Putin, of trying to jail his main opponent. Putin did that to his main opponent, Aleksei Navalny and now Biden's minions are trying to do it to Biden's main rival Trump. Navalny has recently disappeared in the Russian prison system, definitely no longer at the camp he was at but nobody knows where he is now. Biden is similarly trying to destroy our democracy.
Using flim flam in the courts to keep opponents off the ballot is another PUtin trick that Biden is trying. Oh, and we actually have a four party system: Republican (R) RINO (R?-RINO) Democrat (D) WOKE (D-crazy)

Commented on 59% of illegal alien households in US are on welfareThe 59% get welfare is a dubious statistic and depends on the definition of welfare but I'm sure some do.
Lets take it a step further. Ever been to a meat packing plant? The owners and executives are citizens. The workers, not so much. Every time you buy beef, chicken, or pork, you are putting your money in the pockets of illegals. That's just one industry. Wonder how much you would need to pay white American workers to work in meat packing? Wonder how much a pound of burger would cost if that were to happen. My point? It's complicated. No easy answers. What ever we decide to do, lets not come down too hard on any one group.

If your default position is one party rule then you're up a creek. America is now a 3 party system:
Democrat (D) Republican (R) MAGA (R-crazy) In order for things to week we have to respect that it will not always go our way.
