There is a debate in science, so we should not be going hog wild on one side.

The 1600 scientists who signed the letter take a position consistent with conventional climate science and with the observations of climate cycles that have occured in the past, as well as current data. The climate alarmist scientists, on the other hand, take a radical new approach, promoted with political money in the 1980s and since. The climate alarmist scientists have also been caught scheming to cover up facts and data that disprove their theory in the Climategate emails

The last multi-century cycle of global warming, the Medieval Warm Period came to a natural end and went into a cooling cycle, the Little Ice Age. I have yet to hear the climate alarmist scientists try to explain how CO2 and such "caused" the Medieval Warm Period, when it was warmer than it is today and nothing bad happened as a result. In fact, it was a period of great wealth and human progress. Maybe the climate alarmists might claim it was horse farts from all those knights riding around?

Or take the granddaddy of all warm cycles, the Holocene Maximum, when it was MUCH warmer than today for 3,000 years. That coincided with the Bronze Age of human development and the heyday of ancient Greek civilization. We know from ancient Greek history that there were no bad outcomes from that warm period.

Personally I think climate change is a symptom of the real problem. The real problem, in my view, is that the earth has reached its carrying capacity. Anyone who hunts deer knows an area of land can support a population of a certain size. Many variables involved but when the population expands beyond the capacity of the land to support it, we know what happens.
In my view, when it comes humans, the earth is fast reaching its capacity to support us and we all know what happens. The heating climate is but a symptom.

There was just a statement put out by 1600 scientists, led by two Nobel prize winners, one of whom was the most recent Nobel winner in Physics, that declared that "there is no climate emergency". While there are other scientists with a political or personal financial agenda (climate alarmism makes for lots of government grant money for them) who claim otherwise, it was shown they are scammers when their emails were hacked in Climategate.

Long time climate science has shown that the Earth goes through centuries long warming and cooling cycles. The last cooling cycle, which was particularly cold compared to others, was known as the Little Ice Age or the Maunder Minimum and ended in the 19th century. Earth has been in a natural warming cycle, that has nothing to do with CO2 or cow farts, since then. There are also shorter term natural warming and cooling cycles like El Nino and La Nina that last a year or two or three. It is all a natural process not manmade.

Climate alarmism is a cult, the largest doomsday cult the world has ever seen, and its members really ought to get professional help to be deprogrammed. Here's looking at you, Little Bobbie.

"Save the Whales" used to be an environmentalist rallying cry, but now the climate alarmists consider whales just collateral damage in their mad drive to industrialize our oceans with wind turbines.

Climate conditions do indeed change, and then change back the other way. It is a natural process that has gone on since the Earth has existed. Those Alaskan ocean conditions have now changed back. It like certain coral reefs that the climate alarmists claimed were dead beyond repair from "global warming" but then did come back.

The climate alarmist fear mongers have made lots of dire predictions, and dozens of them have already reached or passed the point they were supposed to happen, but NONE of them have actually come true. Anyone who continues to believe the climate alarmist poppycock is an idiot and a mindless lemming.
