The Non Patriot Left used Covid to elect the stupidest, most incompetent, the most corrupt president in United States history, including the most incompetent cabinet, and the most corrupt bureaucratic agencies - DO(in)J and FBI in the history of our Republic.

Now, here is the kicker, the Non patriot Left has not, will not investigate Covid, China, the WHO, NOTHING.

Covid may not be political, but the Non Patriot Left made it so.

Fauci is the one who injected politics into medicine on Covid, and yes that was dangerous. Also, the China-controlled WHO. Sweden, which did not inject lockdown politics from China into its Covid response got the best results. I don't know about other big medical organizations, but Vidant doctors locally did not deviate from the party line. Other doctors, not connected with Vidant offered options Vidant doctors did not.

There are lots of research surveys coming out now that show that politically correct Covid care was NOT the best Covid care. The left wants to bury its head in the sand and call them "conspiracy theories".

My last post on this thread. Injecting politics into your medical care is dumb and can hurt you. Conspiracy theories' aside, take care of your self.

Most of us want a doctor free to give us their own independent medical opinions, not one constrained by corporate policy of a big medical conglomerate. We saw too much of that in Covid.

In this past legislative session, when Rep. Kidwell introduced legislation to be sure our school board had authority if they should choose to adopt a curriculum that the far left opposed, he was told by legislative lawyers that it was not necessary and that the North Carolina law cited in this article already gave them authority to do that. The education bureaucracy both in Raleigh and locally wanats everybody to think they have a veto but under the law they do not. We need more school board members who are willing to exercise the authority that the law gives them on curriculum.

Several states, notably Florida and to a lesser degree Texas are pushing back against these domineering textbook companies. If it has any of the alphabet soup of woke - CRT, DEI, ESG, SEL, etc. - Florida will not approve it.

BCCitizen: All of these issues are School Board issues, and I would suggest that you interact with your favorite school board member.

Schools should be extremely close to parents and the community.

Having to interact with people who don’t agree with your politics must be exhausting. So glad I don’t live that way. Never take advice from any chat board jockey. Talk to your doctor.

Lady Justice should be blind. But not the FBI.
They seem to be turning a blind eye to most of the politicians in Washington.
We need to dissolve a number of bureaucrat organizations in Washington.

Unfortunately, Bobbie, finding an independent doctor these days is difficult. Most independent medical practices were bought up by medical conglomerates after the advent of Obamacare, and policy on many medical issues, particularly around Covid, were set at the top, not by the frontline doctors. Too often, these are agenda driven. Even after all the studies showed masks were useless to stop Covid, for political reasons, these medical conglomerates still demanded them. Many individual doctors would privately admit the policy was stupid. One even told me that he had been to a medical conference and among that meeting of doctors no one wore a silly mask.

Medical research, like that from the French university cited, is more important than the agenda of medical conglomerate CEOs.

Thanks CT: I do not read the Washington Daily News since there is so little news in it.

Her ad may play well with the local Leftists that tend to live in this end of the county, in certain sections of this town.

On the stewardship of the planet conundrum, the Green Energy movement has really made a mess of things, and I do not see them recovering.

Stan, Brabo put her "green" obsession in an ad in yesterday's Washington Daily News. That newspaper does not have the readership it used to, so it is sort of slow getting out.

You are right that the "green energy" movement is not environmaentally friendly. A good example is the government of Baden-Wurttemberg in Germany, led by the "Green Party" turning the Black Forest into sawdust to put up their wind turbines. Or the Scottish government cutting down 13.1 million trees on government land, according to figures by their government forestry service, to build wind farms and solar farms. True environmentalists are often suing to stop these wind and solar monstrosities, like the lawsuit in Germany that has, at least for now, saved the ancient Reinhardswald forest, the setting of Brahms Fairy Tales, from being clear cut for wind turbines.

Gary, there is some point at which you can file a lawsuit to get that information. That lawsuit needs to be filed. This stonewalling by government officials is unconscionable. They are wasting our tax money and should not be allowed to cover that up.

CT: How did you get that information, and why was it not reported here already - the largest online publication in Beaufort County's history?

Wise and productive recycling is smart and very important in proper stewardship of our planet, and disposing of sold waste, which is a local issue, primarily for the county commissioners.

Anything regarding "Green Energy" is way too complicated, and a red herring for most local politicians. For most local politicians, the issue is completely an unnecessary concern, outside of what the county commissioners may need to deal with as the county's primary government.

Personally as a county commissioner, I am turned off by every element of the Green Movement. I am at my core a conservationist, but no massive initiative should ever be initiated ad run by reasonably unintelligent people.

It has become the Public's running joke, and the Public's responsibility to rein in before it further damages our Republic.

The knowledge in this article is vital to the correct running of our schools. If you have read it,, you probably know more than most of our school board.

If you are willing to act on this information, you are a hero.

Right at the end of the campaign, Ellen Brabo has come out of the closet full Greta Thunberg, embracing the carbon / climate cult of cliamte alarmism. She wants expensive and unreliable green energy. Since the City of Washington is our electric provider, don't vote for this woman unless you want your electric bill to skyrocket. She put that in an ad right at the end of the campaign. She should have told us she was a disciple of this nonsense earlier. I actually thought early on that she was someone to condider voting for, but now, NO WAY IN HELL. She is clearly on the left end of the political spectrum.

Thanks Delma: Parents and political types should read every word of your thoughtful post on what is proper in selecting learning materials, including potential online invasions.

Acquiring learning materials will always be a subjective process, and what matters most will always be the knowledge, wisdom and level of involvement by the school board and their constituents - parents and concerned taxpayers.

"If it takes a village," let's have at it.

NPR tells the far left narrative. The true believers of that narrative, like Hamas apologist far left internet troll Little Bobbie, confuse that narrative with "the truth" just like Biden does. It was Biden who said "we support truth over facts". Speaking of what whack jobs believe "the truth" to be, I wonder if Little Bobbie is one of those "9/11 truthers"?
