Rep Kidwell lets his objections be known and they all come to the table for negotiations. Kidwell is a champion of the people. Richardson just yells randomly to make the taxpayers think he is a champion for them. He is not. He always wants to know if the meeting is being live-streamed before he speaks. He left the budget meeting after making an absurd comment. Didn’t stay for the process because he had his conservative PAC meeting. As he said, “politics is a hobby” for him. We the people are not here for his entertainment.

Commented on The Register of Deeds--The rest of the storyVoting against budgets full of waste and fluff is what fiscal conservatives do. It is what Walter Jones did his whole Congressional career. It is what Keith Kidwell announced he would do if the Senate insisted on putting some improper things in the budget. It is what former State Repesentative Mike Speciale did if certain spending items were not taken out of the budget. I could go on. It is also what fiscal conservative Hood Richardson has done.
Our county commission has been under the control of a rotten coalition of Democrats and liberal Republicans for many years and they spend way too much money. Our taxes are higher than they ought to be. Personally, I will never vote for any of the damn spenders who do that to taxpayers. And "Ethics Matter" has outted himself / herself as a taxer and spender, probably a Biden Democrat. He / she certainly thinks like a Biden Democrat. I do not agree with Richardson on everything, but he has been a champion for the taxpayers on the county commission, much better than Democrat allies Waters and Rebholtz, or Randy Walker who can't seem to figure out if he is coming or going.

Biden is a crook, and the American media wants to cover it up, as does the corrupt DOJ and FBI. Instead they want to bring made up charges against President Trump. Thank goodness for British newspapers actually doing journalism, instead of the propaganda of the American MSM, to dig some of this stuff out. Also thanks to some of our courageous congressmen. The Biden mafia is probably right now trying to figure out what fake criminal charges to hit them with.

Your dereliction of duty has failed the people in this county. You are an embarrassment to the people in this county across the state. As you may know, I have been doing this a long time, and yes, I will claim authority status, at least here for Beaufort County, and the 90% estimate of corrupt politicians is way out of whack. Now, if one was to claim that 90% of all Democrat Socialist politicians are corrupt, I will not argue against that; however, for Republicans, that figure is much lower. Yes, Beaufort County has many RINOs in political office, and much of that is because most are Democrats who switch parties, so that they may then ride the good works of real Republicans to get into office, and the first thing they do once elected is govern as moderate Democrats, working closely, and naturally with the Democratic Socialists, to the exclusion of the Real Republicans. Beaufort County is notorious for this bad behavior, and well known for such from across the state of North Carolina. The tip top reason it continues here in Beaufort County is because the local GOP not only tolerates that RINO class of politician, they additionally celebrate this infamous and politically abhorrent behavior. But Washingtonian, there is good news afoot in other counties, and I will further report it later as I find the time, but for NOW ... As I travel, infrequently, across the state as a Beaufort County Commissioner, I find that Real Republicans are getting elected to their county commissions, and in their respective counties, their local party apparatus does not abide RINOs. In my opinion, and in the opinion of the Real Republicans from across the state, RINOS may be even more likely to be compromised than Democratic Socialists toward corruption, and these many counties with strong GOP local parties will not tolerate this class of politician. Alternately, and in real terms, I am buoyed by what I see across the state of North Carolina, and remember this Deatherage estimation: There are few Real Republicans who could ever be enticed unto corrupt practices in governing ... then again, I am ever the optimist ... it pays to be until fully shown the dark side of corrupt behavior.

You resigned from the Executive Committee and according to the NCGOP you gave up your ExOfficio status. Secondly the election for ROD was fair and square. Quit being a poor loser. Thirdly the Executive Committee meetings are the second thursday of every month. Fourth money was given to the Sheriff and there was money spent on mailings for School Board members. Fifth we do not support Commissioners because of the antiquated limited voting method of Beaufort County. Six I believe from my research that the Commissions were informed of the lack of space several years ago. Maybe you should stay awake during meetings so you know what is going on.

Commented on The Register of Deeds--The rest of the storyAs a Beaufort County Commissioner of some years and some knowledge of what is real, I have only one issue regarding the recording of precious and essential documents here in Beaufort County, whose government is a body politic of a Race to Record State, which is this: Beaufort County government must record all documents in as many manners as is available, and stored in as many locations as is feasible.
Anything less than attaining this maxim of Commissioner Stan Deatherage is unwise, and unsuitable in these perilous times. Furthermore, what I am wisely advocating should become the policy of these county commissioners, and therefore the register of deeds. All plaintiff declarations of not having enough current space, or that general statutes stating that electronic records must be kept, as an excuse for discontinuing any other manner of recordation is only political subterfuge, exhibiting alarming sophistry. If realtors, lawyers and other political leaders wish to debate this issue, of which my maxim states the correct path forward, then by all means, please come do so before the Beaufort County Commissioners, in public, and in full transparency. To not fully publicly consider this issue, in full deliberations before the public, will create a far greater political matter going forward for all parties that are called upon to be a this table charged with a great fiduciary to the public writ large.

Who am I to evaluate the Pope; however, I do watch from afar, and in these perilous times that I have long recognized, Pope Francis is being required to take positions in the Papist realm, where his positions are increasingly political, and contrary to what some people believe, this is a historically rightful role of the Pope; these political positions are necessary for guidance of his flock, maybe others seeking inspiration and clarity. Taking some political positions on the most monumental of issues, where moral clarity is absolutely necessary, is what Popes are forced to deal with while also consumed with their reverent task within the spiritual realm of his shepherding the willing souls unto eternal grace.
Lately, with this World teetering constantly between what is eternally right and what is wrong; what is of absolute good and what is evil, Pope Francis appears to be walking upon a more righteous path in these Worldly matters of good vs evil, as if he is actually being guided by the Hand of a benevilent God to get it right. If I am correct in my humble estimations, this would be a very good thing, and an answer to many prayers lifted up unto our all knowing and supreme Lord most high.

Commented on Sam Bankman-Freid ties to RINOs opposing Jim JordanKen Buck, one of those stabbing the GOP caucus in the back, had the audacity to send me a fundraising email a day or two ago. I told him to stick it where the sun does not shine.
I am on his mailing list for giving his US Senate campaign some money some years ago. He was the candidate backing by several national conservative organizations against McConnell's candidate. When McConnell's boy lost the primary, McConnell did everything he could to undercut Buck so he would lose the general election. I initially was pleased to see him win a House seat, but in the last year or so, he has started going off the reservation quite a bit, and this is the latest one. Now I would be inclined to send a contribution to his priimary opponent. Republican activists are fed up with the Ken Bucks of the Congress.
