The future is not hard to predict. If the rapture happens in our life time some will be taken to heaven with our Lord and Savior and everyone else will be left to face tribulation. If the rapture does not happen in our life time, we will at some point in time die, then face our eternity either in heaven or hell.
We don't want to be harming the environment but in the end it won't matter. Look at Revelation chapter 21 "Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea." The word tells us exactly what is going to happen. If you are not sure where you will spend eternity, you might want to do what you need to do to make sure it is where you desire to end up, that is totally up to you.

I'm good, thanks. The future is difficult to predict, even for the faithful. The point of my inquiry was to get you thinking that our actions effect our environment and can have some significant unintended consequences. We all like to know what happens at the end but unfortunately, or fortunately, we do not.

Is THIS why we elected a GOP majority? Kidwell stood by us, but Jim Perry is absolutely worthless. Perry might as well be a Democrat.

Isn't there a part about the world ending, again, not by flood but fire? I remember when I was a kid, all the older people thought it meant nuclear war which is understandable considering the Cold War.

Wish I had read this yesterday. I never buy gas at Speedway since they are always the ones raising gas prices, and usually by a lot, like twenty or thirty cents. When they stick it to consumers that way, I don't want to deal with them. There are plenty of other places to buy gas.

Commented on Socialism rearing its ugly head amidst our veto-proof “conservative” revolution in RaleighIf we have extra money, then it needs to be returned to the taxpayers, not put in this woke slush fund. The head of that "NC Innovation" is the one who brought obnoxious woke concepts to Truist Bank when he ran it, and would do the same to this slush fund. We do not need to be giving money to slime balls like that. Give it back to taxpayers or at least fund something that will get taxpayers off the hook for local taxes, like school construction.

Bob, read the Bible, you will learn exactly what is coming. You will also learn the promise God made about NOT flooding the earth again and the sign he gave. Revelation is an eye opener. A little hint the first 3 chapters are a warning to the church, meaning we the people, then the rapture happens and all those left behind will go through tribulation.

According to Genesis Chapter 6, God did not allow it He is the one that destroyed the earth because of the wickedness, violence and sin.
5 And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. 6 And it repented the Lord that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. 7 And the Lord said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them. 8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord. 9 These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God. 10 And Noah begat three sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth. 11 The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. 12 And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth. 13 And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.

People could do something really stupid like this crazy scheme of the Biden regime. The globalists have been talking population reduction for decades. If the fall off in solar activity that some astronomers are predicting leads to another cold period, as it has in the past, and that gets amplified by some idiot action of the climate alarmist mafia, that double punch could ideal cause a cold period worse than the last one, coupled with less sunlight, a dire situation for mankind.

Let me ask you this: The Bible speaks of a great flood. According to the story all of humanity was wiped out save a few, same with the animals. Question, if God let it happen once, do you think it possible that He could let it happen again? That humans so overpopulated the earth that they altered the environment in such a way that most could not survive?

This is climate alarmism run amuck, and very dangerous to plants and animals on Earth. If the predictions of many astronomers are correct, the Earth is about to enter a period of low solar activity, which will naturally cool temperatures. The Earth's most recent cold period, which climatologists call the Little Ice Age from the 15th to 19th centuries corresponds exactly to what astronomers refer to as the Maunder Minimum, a period of very low solar activity. When solar activity perked up in the 19th century, we have seen the current warming period.
Reducing sunlight will have the effect of stiffling plant growth, and therefore food production. These idiots are playing with fire.

Brant hit the nail on the head when he mentioned fascism. The "corporate state" is the key economic tenet of fascism, and "NC Innovation" is a concept that would have warmed Mussolini's heart. This program does have some similarities to socialism, but at its heart it is truly fascist.

Well, You know what SINGLE group has a HUGE HUGE advantage over others doing nearly identical work?
Public Sector workers, who are about the ONLY group still accruing service credits towards a Defined Benefit (DB) pension LONG GONE in the Private Sector. And guess what ..... RARELY do all of the workers' own contributions to that DB pension Plan (INCLUDING all of the investment earnings on their contributions) accumulate to a sum upon retirement sufficient to buy more than about 15 % of their VERY VERY generous pension. YOU, the Taxpayers, are responsible for the OTHER 85%, as well as funding 100% of your own retirement security needs (perhaps very marginally reduced by no more than a 3% of pay 401K contribution from your employer). Sound fair to YOU, the Taxpayer ? Of course not, and it's WAY past time for Taxpayers to demand an end to this you-scratch-my-back-and-I'll-scratch-yours arrangement between our Elected Officials and the Public Sector Unions/Workers, wherein the former SELL

This is absolutely something North Carolina should do. Do not recognize drivers licesnes issued by other states to illegal aliens. The sad thing is that RINO governor Pat McCrory went the other direction and gave NC drivers licenses to DACA illegal aliens. Those would seem to be some that are no longer recognized in Florida.
This will also help protect our voter rolls. If an illegal alien with a California drivers license goes to NC DMV and uses it to get an NC drivers license, then the Motor Voter people at DMV will ask him to register to vote.
