Either your addiction to fossil fuels is so strong, Exxon sends you a check or you're an idiot to think the earth can absorb the emissions from combustion and not warm.

Commented on The fallacy of two-party politics in Beaufort CountyI learned almost fifty years ago from one of the real masters of political analysis and strategy, Lee Atwater, that proper political analysis is based on voting behavior, not registration statistics. Calculating the "base vote" of each party, the percentage who vote straight party ticket regardless of how they are registered is the only solid basis for political analysis and that is done from election returns, not registration statistics. The simple fact is that a solid majority of those registered Unaffiliated in Beaufort County are straight ticket Republican voters on election day, with a smaller number straight ticket Democrats. The percent of swing vote or ticket splitters is in the single digits. Statewide, the base Republican vote is 47%, the base Democrat vote is 46% with 7% swing voters or ticket splitters.

The problem is that for the far left, they view their ideological narrative as "reality" and it is far from it. They refuse to debate the science of climate, saying huffily that "the debate is over". In fact REAL science is ALWAYS open to debate. Einstein was always willing to, and did, debate his theory of relativity. The climate alarmist dogma is not "science" but is political ideology. The only type of science it is would be political science. The British TV documentary, "The Great Global Warming Swindle" for example interviews prominent scienntists who blow the global warming / climate change doctrine to smithereens. If you watch that documentary, it is easy to understand why the climate alarmists are terrified of having to debate those who do not accept their theory and thats why the climate alarmists will not debate.

What Putin is doing to Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny, Biden is trying to do to Donald Trump. America under the Democrats is becoming Russia. Navalny is now on trial to put him away for life, just like the Biden regime is trying to do to Trump.

I do believe there should be more women on the county commissioner board. And I am not against the unaffiliated. We just need honest people with a integrity to run for the commissioners to keep our town safe and growing in the right direction.

A rising level of violence is from the environmental extremists, who are vandalizing cultural items from buildings to famous paintings, slashing tires, and blocking roads. The last tactic has caused deaths and injuries to real people when emergency transport cannot get through due to climate crazies blocking roads. The climate crazy leaders respond that this is just "collateral damage" and they don't care. When a death results from one of these climate crazy protests, everyone involved in the protest ought to be arrested, tried for manslaughter and given long prison sentences.

All one has to do is compare the numbers of illegal aliens who were getting in under Trump and the massive flood under Biden. THere is a huge difference. Also, under Trump, we had border enforcement, while it is a swinging door under Biden.
What we need is to look at what other countries are doing. Push illegal aliens back over the border as is now the law in Latvia. Use firearms and even pull the triggers as necessary as Greece and Hungary have done. Use water cannon like Poland. BUILD A WALL like many countries. Do not accept asylum claims from safe countries, like a number of European countries are enforcing. Deposit the illegal aliens for safekeeping in another country where the illegals do not want to be as Australia has done by depositing them in New Guinea and the UK is in the process of doing to deposit them in Uganda. There is lots we could do that we are not. Heck Botswana even built their border fence so they could run a lethal dose of electricity through it. The fact that they could at any time has made that fence a huge deterrant without ever having to actually turn on the juice.

I am not at all fond of groups like the Proud Boys, but their level of actual violence is much less than that of Antifa, and Antifa is engaged in violence around the world. A few weeks ago there was an Antifa unit, including an attorney for the far left Southern Poverty Law Center, arrested in Atlanta for domestic terrorism. A couple of months before that, Hungary arrested an Antifa unit that had come into the country to seemingly randomly attack people with extreme violence on the streets of Budapest. Last week in Switzerland, an Antifa gang busted up a restaurant to attack a meeting of young women opposed to illegal immigration, using clubs and knives, injuring 20 of them. Proud Boys are indeed a piece of work, but compared to Antifa, they are almost Boy Scouts.

I understand some people believe gays are choose to be gay, while others see it as sexual orientation. In my view, I think sexual orientation is a spectrum. All hetero on one side, all homo on the other. A whole lot in the middle. I dont judge because your sexual orientation is non of my business. Throw trans gender into the mix and it all gets confusing in a hurry but I'm not gonna hate on people. To me, that's a real sin. Hate for the sake of hate. I want no part of that.
