Stan, are you saying that NONE of the other City Council candidates want to come on Table Talk and do an interview??

Truck driving jobs are well paid and are sought by Americans. These are absolutely not "jobs Americans won't do". What is happening is that trucking companies are cutting costs by putting unqualified illegal aliens behind the wheel and endangering American motorists. These companies which do that should be heavily fined and probably prosecuted as well.

I am happy that we are seeing some conservative leadership on the school board, and I am also happy that the whole board seems to now be joining in. I wonder how this gender identity stuff ever got in there to begin with. Our county school board has had a nominal Republican majority. Were people just not paying attention?

Having done some research, I doubt there are many people around that know more about Title IX than Mr. Rader and Mr. Hickman. Glad the board followed their lead on this matter.

CT: All hail Steve Rader and Charles Hickman for getting something good finally done on the BC School Board.

From what I am told, conservatives on the board made use of identified violations of President Trump's EO to move to eliminate the gender identity and sexual orientation provisions. The new policy that bans DEI was written and proposed by Board member Steve Rader, seconded by member Charles Hickman, and ended up passing unanimously.

The Democrats always tell us that this never happens, but clearly it does. Illegal aliens who illegally register to vote should be up there with the criminals as priorities for deportation.

What our leftwing Democrat run state Board of Education did here in NC on Social Studies curriculum was very, very bad, but Alaska has taken that to a whole new level. Both states should be ashamed of themselves.

Bravo to the school board for finally doing something right. I think if you listened closely enough last night you could hear the Big Cheese gently weeping into his pillow.

DEI is an abomination of bigotry and racism.

Hooray for the school board! They got this one right! Who led the fight and what was the vote?

Harboring illegal aliens is a felony under federal immigration law. Maybe it is time to start arresting some of these out of control Biden and Obama judges for that crime.

No father should have to go through this; then why does the Non Patriot Left believe so passionately in the Crime Culture, and its supposed benefits for our Representative Republic.

Come on; nobody truly believes that Mr. Trump had any real chance of winning this formerly prestigious award that is now reserved for Leftists other than the Nobel awards committee, unless ... someone like María Corina Machado, who, unknown to the Nobel awards committee, is not a Leftist, and, after receiving her award, did dedicate her Nobel Peace Prize to none other than ... "wait for it, drum roll" ... President Donald John Trump, who she credited for her success here in this western hemisphere.

North Carolina is likely worse on illegal aliens on our voter rolls. Republican-run Texas has been proactive, as much as it could be, to identify and stop such illegal voter registrations. With nine straight years of lax state level voter roll supervision by Democrats, North Carolina is in a much different situation. They have been thumbing their noses at federal law that required a partial social secutiry number that could be identified or a drivers license number, so that would make it much easier for a foreign citizen to register to vote. States that give illegal aliens drivers licenses would be the most problematic of all.

As of October 21, 2025, these are the three candidates that were interested enough to speak to our readership about their candidacy. This Table Talk post was originally published on September 7, 2025.

Many city governments, and, to a lesser extent, county governments are either ignorant or corrupt, and that is a great inhibitor to the wise governing of growth in North Carolina.

And whose fault is that: The politicians? Partly, but the larger part is the people that elect these corrupt idiots in this self-governed society.

North Carolina Voters remember: These corrupt idiots represent you, who you may be; so don't be that guy.

Van Zant: And both Imposter Republicans, "Liberals with Rs beside their names," a.k.a RINOs, are coddled by the far too many RINOs, and RINO Whisperer's in the Beaufort County GOP.

I agree Bubba, North Carolina "does NOT need a sanctuary state on our northern border."

Now here is question I will ask: If Abigail Spanberger was once a CIA officer, when did the CIA start hiring stupid people, and how long why does the hire stupid people?

NC does NOT need a sanctuary state on our northern border. I hope Virginia voters come to their senses and reject this anti-American globalist traitor Spanberger.

Our Lord Jesus Christ is the everlasting Prophet, Priest, and King. God Bless The Name of the Holy one of Israel.

The body of Christ are the members of his church regardless of denomination. The denominations are the breaking of his body according to his words during the last supper.

“And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.”

Our Lord would not have there be confusion and divisions among us nevertheless there shall be; to the end that the Word is fulfilled as it was written

“For first of all, when ye come together in the church, I hear that there be divisions among you; and I partly believe it.

For there must be also heresies among you, that they which are approved may be made manifest among you.”

“Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:”

Schumer is playing this game with our country for one reason - his personal career. He thinks if he does not do this, he will be vulnerable to a primary challenge from AOC. Schumer is putting his personal career ahead of the good of the country, which I guess should be expected from a Democrat.
