Does everything in the world for you revolve around either race or more often gay / transgender? The issue here is about Common Core, a method of teaching math that is denounced by many parents as not working and as destroying the math ability of their children. Common Core has been highly controversial since it appeared on the scene.

If you look at all the data, going all the way back, including the tree ring data and ice core data, what emerges is a cycle of long term multi-century warming and cooling cycles that have gone on throughour Earth's history. We came out of the last such cooling cycle, known as the Little Ice Age or the Maunder Minimum in the mid-19th century and have been in a warming cycle since then, so, of course temperatures are rising. Because of the way sun spots impact water vapor on Earth (which is the most important Greenhouse gas of all), we may be due for a reversal soon if the astronomers predicitions on sunspots come true.

An interesting aspect of the data that blows the whole theory of manmade global warming due to CO2 out of the water is that the study of ice core samples shows that the rise in CO2 in the Earth's atmosphere FOLLOWS the rise in temperature by several hundred years, meaning it is a RESULT of the warming, NOT a cause.

Like I said, I hope you're right. But the data says planet is warming and the process is accelerating due to human activity. In a way, it is a natural phenomenon in that a population, any population, will alter their environment as the population grows. I still think dumping all that carbon in the airI means we are gonna cook.

All you have to offer, Bob is the ideological rhetoric of the political left, and that is certainly NOT "truth". For example two of the "woke" distortions of history that are often put forward by the left, CRT (Critical Race Theory) and the 1619 Project both grossly distort facts to try to advance political points. The inventor of the 1619 Project has even admitted it is not history.

Critical Race Theory is part of Critical Theory, which was developed by Herbert Marcuse, a university professor who had been chief ideologue of the German Communist Party during the Weimar Republic. Marcuse's goal was to find other ways to create divisions in society since Marx's economic divide had failed to work for the German Communists. Critical Race Theory was developed a bit later by a group of Marxist law professors as a specific part of Marcuse's Critical Theory. All of Critical Theory is designed to do one thing, and that is divid society so that the far left can politically exploit those divisions.

Why is this all so dangerous? I will give you another quote from George Orwell: "The past was erased, the erasure was forgotten, the lie became the truth." I think Orwell hit the nail on the head as to your version of "truth" and why you on the far left constantly push the distortion of history.
