I agree with BH. More guns is the answer. We just have to be willing to live with the outcome. We cant cry every time a group of kids gets shot up. This is our world are we are armed. The one who is not true is YOU, Bob. Nobody I know thinks nutjobs ought to have guns, bombs, knives, vehicles, etc., and clearly these mixed up trannies are in that category. This writer emphasizes what is Dale Folwell's strongest selling point, his understanding of the system and ability to use it to achieve important policy objectives for conservatives. No other prospective candidate for governor has shown that skill set or record of success. That is exactly what we need to put a successful Republican leader in the Governor's Mansion.

Having myself spent five years in a series of senior politically appointed positions in the Jim Martin administration, I have seen firsthand how success in staffing an administration is the key to its overall success. Dale Folwell has shown his knowledge of staffing in putting a team of able and principled conservatives in key positions in the State Treasurer's office, and I am confident that he will take that same approach to a gubenatorial administration. One of the big concerns I have about Mark Robinson is the lackluster nature of his staffing in the Lt. Governor's office.

Pat McCrory showed how incompetence in staffing an administration can make a governor a one termer. Half of McCrory's initial cabinet were not even Republicans, and it got worse the lower down the O-chart one went. Republican legislators complained that the thing most likely NOT to get someone a position in the McCrory administration was a recommendation from a Republican legislator. Some of those non-Republicans that McCrory put in place turned around and damaged his image with bad policy moves like giving DACA illegal aliens NC drivers licenses, screwing the commercial fishermen, and putting in the hated toll lanes on I-77 north of Charlotte that alone cost McCrory more re-election votes in northern Mecklenburg and southern Iredell counties than his overall statewide margin of loss.

Dale Folwell has proven he has the skill set to be a successful governor and a great candidate.

Dale Folwell is a staunch conservative who knows how to get things done in Raliegh for the conservative cause. Mark Robinson is a skilled orator who can give great speechs. On policy issues Robinson is familiar with like gun rights and fighting CRT, he says all the right things, but he is gunshy on issues outside of his comfort zone. For example, when NC's Green New Deal was befote the legislature, a group of conservative experts on energy met with him to try to get him on board on standing up for conservative principles against the special interests and climate alarmists, but he passed on doing anything. That is particularly glaring in light of the fact that the Lt. Governor by statute heads a state energy policy body.

Due to the total dishonesty of this article, and the sore losers skewing the facts, instead of a complaint about harassment from Richardson, there will be formal charges pressed tomorrow for communicating threats. I was there as a Beaufort County Republican, helping with refreshments, lunch and clean up.Rochardson found who he thought would be his easiest target in the room, and marched his red faced self over to the drink area to threaten me, telling me he should slap or slug me, and that i better watch my ass. There are many many witnesses to this including a deputy, the Sherriff himself and Representative Kidwell. It is also on video tape.,, goodness, cohesiveness, the progression of the party, all won Saturday. If people left in disgust, I bet it was disgust at the name calling by Richardson and the " hoodites".....I was disgusted too, but my country, starting at the grass roots level, meant enough for me to stay, work and clean up. That was the most well run meeting,legally.

Keith Kidwell and Frankie Waters? That is a REAL political odd couple. Kidwell is always pushing to cut taxes and cut spending, while Frankie Waters is a big spender who likes to keep our taxes higher than they ought to be. Keith Kidwell was all over the radio running ads to support Scott Hammonds for sheriff, while Waters contributed to the Democrat candidate for sheriff. What gives?
