The climate alarmists have spread several dozen dire warnings, whose dates of happening have already passed of things they claimed would happen if their preaching was not followed. Not a one of them has come true or even come remotely close. The climate alarmists are proven to be nothing but Chicken Little on steroids. Anyone stupid enough to believe them is either a knee jerk partisan or a buffoon.

The earth has always gone through multi-century warming and cooling cycles. The last one, the Medieval Warm Period, saw termperatures higher than today, and there was no "sea leverl rise". We know where the coastal cities were in medieval times and the sea level did NOT rise, nor did it fall in the succeeding Little Ice Age, also known as the Maunder Minimum.

Then there is the granddaddy of warm periods, the Holocene Maximum, when it was much warmer than today for 2,000 years. The Bronze Age of human development occured during the Holocene Maximum and we know where the ancient Greek and other civilizations of the period had coastal cities, and NO those do not show any sign of "sea level rise" either, nor do ancient Greek writings.

You must be smoking something really strong if you think you see "the planet melting".

Watching the planet melt is not a religion. It's just an observation.

Biden is doing all he can to give us a state sponsored religion - Climate Scientology.

Not a problem. We all want that. You just don't get to hurt others in the process. And neither do I.

Bob. That was the case with the Danbury Baptist but not all churches. Christians just want to be left along to worship who and how they please and not have to hide their convictions because it might affend a few people. Churches most of all want government to stay out of their business.

Nobody wants a state sponsored religion. Everybody wants the state to sponsor their religion. And that's the problem.

The Founding Fathers wanted to be sure that there would be no religion sponsored by any state and that the legislature should “make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof” The phrase in Thomas Jefferson's letter to the Danbury Baptist expressing a wall of separation between Church & State was to clarify that no State or Government could declare any one religion and he wanted to be sure that all men would be assured their natural right to worship as they please.
This letter was not part of the Constitution. However, the left and uninformed have tried to use that phrase to “build a wall of separation between church and state to prohibit prayer and other forms of teaching religion. I have heard most of the implied talking points but go ahead and give it your best shot. This country and its Constitution were founded on freedom and most of all freedom of religion.

The separation of church and state is a philosophy that came from the oppressive rule of the “Holy Roman Empire”. Since the Vatican and the seat of the pope held all the power of government and military. Same with the monarchy since kings and queens are head of the church and government thus combining the powers and acting as if under divine authority. Men are corruptible and this power corrupts, hence separation of church and state.

Bob, One of the first orders of business is to defend Christian Values that allow you to go to church or not go to church without government interference or your interference. Under God's law and the Constitution, you are free to choose.
