I wanted to try to better my education to try to get a job from home but that has not happened and now they are telling me I owe $27,000 how am I supposed to pay that on a fixed income we. I can't hardly make ends meet now. Thank you.

If I were an employer, I would not have accepted any HS diploma from a Washington school, without administration and satisfactory completion of a math and English competency test. I no longer feel that a HS diploma should be accepted by colleges or employers as anything other than acknowledgement that the individual attended school for 12 years.

Perry may not be a Causey fan, but that is likely more about Causey not being willing to help consumers. Causey has let disputes between providers and insurance companies drag on for years instead of stepping in to demand resolution. Perry has absolutely ZERO authority as a Finance Chair to move someone’s offices. You are a liar, plain and simple.
I looked up voter registration info and there is no John Steed registered to vote in Beaufort County. There is only one person with that last name registered in the entire county. You are nothing but a political hack. You are likely one of the people who fear him because you CAN’T buy him. It is no secret that Perry does not need money from special interests. It is also no secret that others in Raleigh are concerned about his fast rise in the Senate because of his outspoken nature and independent thought.

How to make it better:
The police force should reflect the population that they police. That includes leadership.
Better pay to attract high quality candidates.
Just like the Catholic Church needs to stop protecting pedophile priests, cops need to stop covering up for racist cops. When bad sh-t happens, cops need to be held accountable.
I’m sure others could add to my list, but in the end, we get the cops we put up with. We need to expect more.

Sometimes I can help them but sometimes I have to steer them in another direction because like all businesses, we have a process. I always try to be kind and get them to the right person but some, a few, struggle and demand I do what they want.
Those people end up disappointed but thete is a process to resolving all issues. Maybe the school board member wasn’t the right person. I’m sorry if you felt disrespected.

The politically far right has a tenancy to cherry pick facts that will support a narrative but this method of argument misses the nuance that is the fabric of our shared history.
Case in point. Stating diversity = anti white racism is absurd in the context of the founding of this county. yet the poster might be factually correct in a given moment in time, he/she is ignoring the bigger picture because it does not suit his/her beliefs.
