I missed the "Meet and Greet" since I was out of town with only a 24 hour advanced notification.

CT: If the Left is swearing: "Leftist;" "Racist;" "Liar;" "Anti-environmentalist;" "Soulless;" "Hatemonger,' etc, it is purely because the Left prefers to inadvertently, it their constant hamfisted manner, remind you exactly who they are at their core.

It is the great irony that surrounds the Non Patriot Left.

I am begrudgingly in favor of AI because of the necessity of a number of very important problems that have long needed to be solved.

AI influenced literature, movies and music are NOT part of those necessities that will enhance and sustain humanity in these complex times.

The human touch is critical in all art; machines do NOT create art!

Bath Parent and Truth Be Told are aliases of uniform commenters that consistently make NO sense when presenting their weak arguments against Conservative ideals regarding local governing here in Beaufort County.

Rather than intelligently discuss the issues of their many more Leftist concern, they would rather employ their infamous ad hominem attacks against whichever Conservative politician they choose to attack, which is always baseless, leaving us all with some senseless conclusion elevating a certain and continual sense of nothing.

I have put the Limited Voting issue back on the agenda for the next general meeting.

This will be my top issue until this continuing conundrum of culpability finds a proper solution, and that solution is more and better representation for this self-governed county on the board of their local, most important government - the Beaufort County Commissioners.

Washingtonian: I am firmly on your side.

And think of this: Bad Governments that are incompetent, I would argue, are within the spectrum of a distinct form of corruption, which is combined responsibility between the incompetent politicians and their ill informed constituents.

One has to wonder: What sorry overfunded education is so poorly afforded to our youth that these polls can, and do exhibit such a complete dearth of enlightenment among those leaning Left?

Why is the Left so compelling in their constant control of the misinformed?

Bubba, you have actually made a salient political point.

Nick Fritz was ready to rip the bandaid off the waste, the corruption, and the abject governmental ignorance that has haunted the City of Washington for decades.

Roland, are you going to be that guy? Can you supplant Nick and fend off the Leftist fools, who sincerely struggle with reality?

We need what is real running the City of Washington, because that quality has been sorely lacking for far too long.

3.3% inflation while at war, a war that restricts the distribution of oil, is a good number.

Paying a little more right now for goods is not such a bad thing, and the very least we citizens can do to contribute.

Charles: Thank-you for your service as a strong member of the school board.

No longer can we allow the Education Industry to indoctrinate, and under education our most precious resource.

On the mean, they truly messed up the Millennial Generation. I know this from much sincere experience.

The Non Patriot Left is solely responsible for the drop in the birth rate of American citizens.

Abortion is just one of the teetering legs of their three legged stool to destroy the societal structure of this Constitutional Republic.

One more reason why School Choice is the most significant evolving issue in North Carolina, created to solely bring education back from the brink of its incalculable decline and its gathering, further decay.

A federal grand jury in North Carolina has recommended that disgraced FBI Director James Comey be indicted for inciting violence against President Trump, a president that Comey vilified as a prominent tool of the Non Patriot Left, by perpetrating the Russia Hoax; an infamous black mark against the Democratic Socialist Propagandistic Media, and the Democratic Socialist Party at large.

I am proud of my state for playing its part in the recognition that justice must be blind.

John: The County GOP has been warned far longer than four years by some of us here in Beaufort County, who serve the Good People with NO (real Republican) political party as support.

And yes, Biden was NOT elected in a real election; and, the Democratic Socialist party will cheat again if patriots are not wary of that salient fact.
Commented: Wednesday, April 29th, 2026 @ 10:29 am By: Stan Deatherage
The Democratic Socialists, with their Non Patriot Leftist shock troops, have made a political living out of Illegal Aliens, culminating in the unambiguous Open Border Policy, which has and will tax the people of this Republic trillions of dollars until honest elected leaders straighten this mess created by the completely dishonest Democratic Socialists, who exist everywhere they ply their mendacity form of governing upon we, the self-governed.

If the whole of this Representative Republic wishes to root out all Institutional Corruption the self-governed people of this great land will never give anything to those who perpetrate such.

NO amnesty for Illegals; NONE.

John: In today's business /political climate, the greatest reason businesses feel comfortable, in any selected area of their choosing, is whether the local government can manage to remain business friendly by providing a less expensive place to do business, additionally with fewer ridiculous regulations, which is now the hallmark of Democratic Socialist governments.

Think in terms of their control during the dark days of the Plandemic.

Well, Barack Hussein Obama had some interesting ideas on what constituted patriotism in our Republic; he advocated the managed decline of our civilization.

This does not shock me.

These Leftist activist groups are part of the propaganda mission that is at the heart of the messaging of the Democratic Socialist party.

This is truly a political issue rather than a bureaucratic one.

Either the county commissioners wish to help the taxpayers by lowering the amount of money they pay the local governing authority, or they do NOT. It is that simple.

Ray: Great post explaining the necessary machinations of how political parties work, and, or should work everywhere, and especially here in Beaufort County.

Most folks really do not understand how republican governments work, and how political parties truly could make an important difference for the positive ... If they only would.

I just want these guys in the Conservative Coalition to stick together. There is no good reason why they would not.

Joe Davis may be a little green in spaces, but all young, immediate politicians need seasoning, learn the real ropes ... At least at some level of better understanding and growth. What matters is whether their ideological hearts are in the right place, and I am satisfied that Councilman Davis's political heart is solid.

Vant Zant: 'If one cannot dazzle them with brilliance, they can always baffle them with B.S.'

In what I do (actually everything in my worklife), and what Hood does (actually everything in Hood's worklife), there are technical parameters that must be dealt with to get things done, while staying out of trouble.

In my governing work-life, since coming back on the board of county commissioners, is trying to get things done as a Real Republican, while in the minority serving against 5 Democrats from 2018 to 2022, and now against 4 Democrats since 2022 until now. Alternatively, the constant parameter that Beaufort County GOP RINOs and RINO Whisperers advocate is to provide great advantage and succour for the Democratic RINOs serving the Center-Left here in Beaufort County.

For the Democratic Socialists, they have stopped running candidates because the local GOP does that for them; a salient fact that the Beaufort County GOP refuses to recognize.

Van Zant: You are correct again about the RINO and RINO Whisperer element that plagues Beaufort County governments.

Jeff: Max did run as a team with Nick and Joe. If Joe Davis is an "Independent," he is one of the most highly tuned Independents that I have ever come across.

Steve: You are right about spreading the search parameters regarding a manager. If I am ever in a situation where I am partly (as a minority member) in control of hiring a manager, I will push for this dual approach to finding that good manager.
Commented: Thursday, April 16th, 2026 @ 8:24 am By: Stan Deatherage
Gary, you seem to have forgotten the RINO element that is a governing desease built upon a fraud that plagues Beaufort County's tax payers, all perpetrated by a corrupt Beaufort County GOP.

Gary, if you were a Real Republican governing as a Conservative on this, and all previous Beaufort County Commissions plagued by the RINO element, you would understand what Commissioner Richardson and I have dealt with all these many years of these far too many many Center-Left /Left (those who swap votes to share power) frauds posing as something that they are NOT - Republicans.
Commented: Thursday, April 16th, 2026 @ 8:14 am By: Stan Deatherage
"Real Conservative" is a misnomer for any RINO that usurps the good work done by Real Republicans, who worked to limit government, by lowering spending and eliminating corruption, waste fraud and abuse. "Real Conservative" you do the Republican Party a disservice by masquerading as what you are not: You are NOT "Real," as you are here hiding behind an alias, and you are NOT a "Conservative" as you only support RINOs in local elections. This is the MO of the local GOP, and that notariety is widespread, as was confirmed to me often during the 1st District Convention held last Saturday.

Taxpayers of Beaufort County: If your taxes went up far too much last year, it is because of petty frauds, like the fake "Real Conservative," who operate in a corrupt manner within the Beaufort County GOP to only support RINOs, and possibly RINO Whisperers in local elections; those fake Republicans that vote for every spending increase, and support every tax increase, and that is why the fraud, announcing herself as "Real Conservative," considers Commissioner Hood Richardson an "ineffective Republican," which he certainly is not; never was; never will be.
Commented: Wednesday, April 15th, 2026 @ 9:47 pm By: Stan Deatherage
As I observe the uselessness of the Beaufort County GOP in their plaintiff defense of their RINO element, all part of their proposed "Big Tent" circus, there are multiple ad hominem attacks levied against Conservatives, here in this publication, charging the great reveal of their incompetence was all begun by the 'ad hominem attacks' by Commissioner Hood Richardson.

By contrast of these subsequent non sequitur attacks by local GOP RINOs, The Hood's opening salvos were, and continue to be aimed at richly targeted zones, the blast of his attack of these bullets of truth landing in a tight, and most distinguishable pattern.
Commented: Wednesday, April 15th, 2026 @ 9:01 am By: Stan Deatherage
Truth Be Told: I attend the meetings to make a difference, but the difference is impossible when RINO corruption gets in the way of actually having a real meeting, where the work gets done, and right now the so-called Beaufort County GOP is doing NOTHING to aid real Republican candidates in the upcoming elections; for instance - getting out the vote in the recent primary, where the Republican Party here in Beaufort County did absolutely NOTHING.

I, and other keen observers, could easily argue that the planned complacence by the local GOP aided in hard-working Representative Kidwell losing his primary, and school board incumbents, like competent Steve Rader, being replaced due to an onslaught of Democrats switching to Unaffiliated to pick the Republican nominees to serve as our candidates in the general election. One has to reckon: How many of these Democrats-turned-Unaffiliated-taking-Republican ballots barrelled to the polls to vote for Keith Kidwell, or Steve Rader, or Travis Martin, or Stan Deatherage or Charles Hickman (with only Hickman and Deatherage surviving the primary)?

NO, there is little difference being made in every stretch of the political /governing paradigm by Beaufort County GOP, in which their obvious plan appears ambivalence, or worse, toward all local candidates waxing conservative.

Woke: Do you hate all things and people Conservative, or do just despise all things smart and honest?

Professionally, I been working this governing thing for a very long time, and my learned path is very much alien to your concepts, that path of Stan being this well developed ideal: I despise all politicians stupid and dishonest, which seems far too often to exist in tandem in these times.

Maybe, your just being consumed by what is "woke" has seriously clouded your brain on matters of what is real.
