"Every Picture Tells a Story ... Don't It:" Part IX, Music in the Streets | Eastern North Carolina Now



Beaufort County Idol has become a Beaufort County Phenomenon, where it began this night at the intersection of Main and Market Streets, and will culminate at the Turnage Theater where the Beaufort County Idol will be crowned. This is the stage where it begins: Below. Also at that corner, but fortunately not in the middle of the intersection are the proprietors of the Lone Leaf Gallery, Neal and Maredith Loughlin: Below.     Images by David Winstead


    An aspiring musician enjoys the evening air and some newfound notoriety: Above. For 3 hours, that evening on the first Music in the Streets, the crowd navigated the streets and were serenaded for their trouble: Below. See you next month.
