Louise Cuthrell McConville | Eastern NC Now

    Louise Cuthrell McConville, 58, of 41385 US Highway 264, the Ponzer community died Thursday January 2, 2014 at home.

    Born in Tyrrell County on January 31, 1955, she was the daughter of the late Woodrow and Ida Cahoon Cuthrell. She was married to Kenneth E. McConville who survives.

    A loving wife, mother, grandmother, mother in-law, sister and friend, she will be truly missed.

    In addition to her husband, surviving are two sons Kenneth E. McConville, Jr. and wife Stacy of Washington, Michael R. McConville of Pantego; four sisters, Ann C. Lewis of Engelhard, Jackie C. Sawyer of Gum Neck, Marie C. Sawyer of Kilkenney and Zoradia Cuthrell of Scranton; two brothers, James Cuthrell of Creswell and Albert Cuthrell of Ponzer; three grandchildren Cassidy McConville, Neal Gibbs and Cody Gibbs.

    She was preceded in death by a brother Jerry Cuthrell and a brother in-law James D. McConville.

    In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

    The family will receive friends on Tuesday January 7, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Bryan Funeral Service, Swan Quarter.
