We can expect local rainfall amounts near two inches beginning now through 6:00am Sunday morning. Wind gust during the storm events could gust to 35 mph and should the storms continue to intensify then tornado winds should be expected near 70+mph.

Please caution all drivers to drive defensively as standing or ponding water can and will cause hydroplaning conditions for even the largest vehicles. Wind gust can and will send objects of all types and sizes into roadways. Stay safe out there and remember: “Stay weather aware while Driving”.

    Have a good weekend.

Government and its bureaucracy are not perfect, and never has been in this self-governed society, here at the local level, at our state level, and at our federal level, therefore, it is incumbent upon all elected politicians to seek a comfortable level of representation for our constituents.
Beaufort County is implementing a new emergency alert system. All residents are encouraged to sign up to receive alerts via phone and email.

Waste, fraud, abuse and incompetence continue to govern county school budgets and decision making.

However, if one believes that Beaufort County government is in full command of the issues of our times, here locally, one might need to steel their resolve for a more perfect understanding of the intellect possessed by the Center-Left /Left Coalition.
To borrow a big phrase from this salient plan originating at the federal level, under President Trump's watchful eye, whose time has finally arrived, even here in the mispent realm of Beaufort County government(s).
We must vet, and elect those who will actually represent the people or we will be stuck with the same mess we have now.
