Brittany Kay Rowe Green | Eastern NC Now

    Brittany Kay Rowe Green passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 due to a tragic car accident.

    She was born on October 18, 1991 in Greenville, NC to Brenda and Wayland Rowe. She married the love of her life, Chris "Lil Bud" Green on August 7, 2010, and had a beautiful daughter, Kaeleigh Michelle Green.

    She was a wonderful daughter, loving wife, remarkable mother, and a true friend to those around her. Those who knew her will always remember the tiny country blonde with her country twang; whose smile was just as contagious as her laugh. Her family and friends were her passion, but her greatest joy was being a mother to Kaeleigh and a wife to Lil Bud.

    Brittany was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Gene Gaylord, her paternal grandfather, Lacey Rowe, and her father-in-law, Bud Green.

    She is survived by her husband, Chris Green of Greenville, NC; her daughter Kaeleigh; her parents, Brenda Rowe of Robersonville, NC, and Lacey Wayland Rowe Jr. of Blount's Creek, NC; one brother, Austin Rowe of Robersonville, NC; one sister, Jamie Burbage of Washington, NC; her maternal grandmother, Shirley Gaylord Roark and her spouse Ronald Roark of Aurora, NC; her paternal grandmother, Deborah Rowe of Blount's Creek NC; her paternal uncle, Travis Rowe and his spouse Kim of Blount's Creek, NC; her maternal uncle, William Eugene Gaylord of Wilmington, NC; her maternal aunt Christy Pita and spouse James of Atlantic Beach, NC, and numerous cousins, and friends.

    The family will receive friends this Sunday January 12, 2014 from 6-8 pm at Wilkerson Funeral Home. The funeral will be held on Monday January 13, 2014 at 1:30 pm at Wilkerson Funeral Chapel. A graveside service will follow in Pinewood Memorial Park. At other times you can come by the home of Brenda Rowe and Jimmy Wayne at 4618 Staton Mill Road, Robersonville, NC 27871.
