Donald Lester Bullock | Eastern NC Now

    Donald Lester Bullock, 51, of 226 Corner High Road, Eure, died Friday, January 10, 2014 in Vidant Roanoke-Chowan Hospital, Ahoskie.

    Mr. Bullock was born in Beaufort County and was the son of the late Donald Eugene Bullock and Patsy Porter Burrow. Employed as a supervisor with Axis Utility Construction Company in Norfolk, VA, he was a member of Eure Baptist Church.

    Surviving are his wife of nearly 25 years, Ronnie Jane Konecky Bullock; a daughter, Lindsey Renee Patty and husband James of Eure; four sisters, Diane P. Lilley of Chocowinity, Donna B. Edwards of Washington, Janet R. Jones of Chocowinity, and Sherry B. McGowan of Pantego; two grandchildren, Makayla and Mason Patty; and two canine companions, Sugar and Daisy.

    A memorial service will be held Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. in Eure Baptist Church by Dr. Wayne Proctor. Friends may join the family in the church social hall immediately following the service, and other times at the residence. Miller Funeral Home, 304 Main Street, Gatesville, is assisting the family with arrangements.

    In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family, in care of his sister, Donna Edwards, 231 Clayton Street, Washington, NC 27889, to help defray medical and other related expenses.
