Jeannette Papineau Allen | Eastern NC Now

    Jeannette Papineau Allen, 67, of Plymouth died Sunday, January 26, 2014 at her residence in Plymouth.

    Born March 19, 1946 in Lenoir County she was the daughter of the late Dr. Alban Papineau and Jeannette Edwards Papineau and was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Edward Allen; sister, Linda Papineau Whitley and brother, Bradford Papineau. Mrs. Allen was an accountant enrolled agent, owner of Allen Accounting and member of Union Chapel Free Will Baptist Church. She was a graduate of UNC Chapel Hill, member of the Washington County Chamber of Commerce, former member of the Washington County Planning Board and the Jaycettes.

    Her family includes her daughter, Rebecca Allen Paul and husband Michael of Washington, N.C.; son, Josh Edward Allen and wife Becky of Washington, N.C.; grandchildren, Alban Paul, Jackson Paul, Spencer Allen, Evan Allen and Jonathan Allen.

    Memorial service will be held Friday, January 31, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Union Chapel Free Will Baptist Church with Reverend Al Markuson officiating. Family will receive friends on Friday following the service in the church fellowship hall.

    In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Union Chapel Free Will Baptist Church or charity of choice.
