    Mrs. Rosa Lee Foreman Paul, age 91, a resident of 9716 NC Hwy 99 S. Bath, NC died Thursday, March 20, 2014 at her home.

    A graveside funeral service will be 1:00 PM Sunday, March 23, 2014 at North Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery of Belhaven, NC. The service will be officiated by Elder Gene Lupton and Elder Milton Lupton.

    Mrs. Paul was born in Beaufort County on May 2, 1922 daughter of the late Walter Harrell Foreman and the late Lucy Barbara Waters Foreman. She was a 1938 graduate of Bath High School. Mrs. Paul married Gilbert L. Crockett who preceded her in death in 1954 and married Lewis Ray Paul, Sr. who preceded her in death in 1958. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Paul was instrumental in the forming Bath Community Rescue & EMS and was a certified Emergency Medical Technician who was active in the rescue squad as her health permitted. Her fundraising abilities not only helped get the squad started but also helped maintaining it after it was established.

    Survivors include a daughter: Barbara C. Grant and husband Bernard of Bath; a son: Dal Paul of Power Springs, GA; a daughter-in-law: Ann Marie Bowman Paul; three grandchildren: Grace Marie Paul, Joseph "Blake" Paul and Bernard "Bernie" Grant, Jr and a great grandchild: Rosa Joy Grant. She was predeceased by a son: Lewis Ray Paul, Jr. and three brothers: Hugh, Jessie F. and James F. Foreman.
