    Janie Bolton Millard, 73, of Aurora, went to be with her Lord & Savior on Saturday, November 29, 2014.

    She was born in Wayne County in June 1941 to Richard Thomas Bolton and Rachel Coley Bolton. She was employed by Potash Corp. until her retirement in 2004. She was a member of White Hill OFWB Church and enjoyed church activities and various crafts.

    In addition to her parents, Janie was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Robert Ray Millard, her brother, William Richard Bolton, and nephew, Ricky Bolton.

    She leaves behind to cherish her memory a loving family, including, her sons, Christopher K. Millard and wife, Sherylee, and Ray Jefferson "Jeff" Millard, both of Aurora; three granddaughters; three great-granddaughters; step-daughters, Martha Worsley of Ocean Isle Beach and Debbie Lyon of Mt. Airy; stepsons, Richard R. Millard Jr. of Tarboro and Lisle Millard of Newnan, Ga.; and nine step-grandchildren.

    Her memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 3rd at White Hill OFWB Church with the Rev. Wesley Taylor officiating.
