    Mr. Linwood Warren Waters, age 71, a resident of Long Ridge Rd., Pinetown NC, passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2015 at Roanoke Landing Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Plymouth, NC.

    Mr. Waters was born in Beaufort County on December 15, 1943 son of the late Warren and Margaret Latham Waters. He was a farmer and worked together with his father- in- law. He was a member of Harvest Church in Washington, NC.

    Linwood is survived by his sister Frances Waters Smith and her husband Vance, of Pinetown, NC.

    A celebration of his life will be held at 3 pm, Sunday, February 15, 2015 at Harvest Church, 2020 West 15th Street, Washington, NC. The service will be officiated by Pastor Tad Tankard. Music will be provided by Treva Tankard. Burial will follow at the Waters Cemetery in Pinetown. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church and other times at the home of his sister, Frances Smith.
