Obituary: Janet Ann Bonner Brewer | Eastern NC Now

    Ms. Janet Ann Bonner Brewer, age 76, a resident of 192 Peele Road, Aurora, NC died Friday July 1, 2011 at her home.

    A memorial graveside service will be held 10:30 AM Thursday July 7, 2011 at High Hill Cemetery of Aurora officiated by Pastor Earl Sadler, Jr.

    Ms. Brewer was born in Chesterfield County, VA on March 13, 1935 daughter of the late William Crawford Bonner, Sr. and the late Ruth Louise Allen Bonner. She was a 1953 graduate of Aurora High School and worked as a clerk for the Town of Aurora. Ms. Brewer also had lived and worked in Virginia. She was a member of Dublin Grove Free Will Baptist Church of Aurora.

    Survivors include two sons: David Brewer of Florida and Norman Brewer of New Jersey; two sisters: Tess Peele and Ruth Harris of Aurora and five grandchildren: Nicole Hancock, James Hancock, Jeremy Brewer, Katie Brewer, and Dakota Brewer. Ms. Brewer was preceded in death by her daughter: Janet Ruth Brewer; three brothers: William C. Bonner, Jr., Wilbur Lee Bonner and Richard Thomas Bonner, Sr. and her parents.

    The family will receive friends at the home of Tess Peele located at 192 Peele Road, Aurora, NC.
