    Mr. Kenneth T. Woolard, age 81, a resident of Washington, NC died Friday September 4, 2015 at River Trace Nursing Center of Washington.

    A graveside memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday September 10, 2015 at Asbury United Methodist Church Cemetery of Washington.

    The family will receive friends 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday September 9, 2015 at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington and other times at the home of Mr. Woolard's son: Lee Woolard located at 212 Decoy Drive, Washington, NC.

    Mr. Woolard was born in Beaufort County on January 14, 1934 son of the late Elmer "Gus" Woolard and the late Daisy Asby Woolard. He married the former Glenda Faye Leggett who preceded him in death on February 23, 1992. Mr. Woolard was a carpenter who worked for him self and many contractors in the area. He also worked as a plumber at Moss Planning Mill of Washington. His greatest pastime was hunting and was a member of Horse Pen Swamp Hunting Club.

    Survivors include a son: Kenneth "Lee" Woolard and his wife Debbie of Washington; four grandchildren: Samantha Lewis and her husband Chris of Washington, Jamie Villegas and her husband Josh of Washington, Greg Taylor, Jr. of Chocowinity and Robyn Taylor of Greenville and six great grandchildren: Ashley Adams, Caitlynn Taylor, Justin Manning, Daisy Villegas, Jakob Villegas and McKenna Lewis. Mr. Woolard was preceded in death by two brothers: James Woolard and Ray Woolard and a sister: Betty Woolard.
