The Final Candidates have Filed for Beaufort County's Municipal Elections | Eastern NC Now

Beaufort County has seven municipalities with their own separate municipal governments.

   Beaufort County has seven municipalities with their own separate municipal governments. Each will have an election, courtesy of the Beaufort County Board of Elections, November 8, 2011. These elections will be part of the process to determine the independent futures of these Municipalities in these uncertain times.

    Now that the candidates have filed, even in these sparse numbers, it is incumbent upon the public to support these candidates, or at least vote on election day.

    Hear below is a complete list of all candidates in the upcoming election:

Bath Filing Update:   Due to the resignation of Commissioner Marty Fulton, a special election will be held in conjunction with the November 8th election to fill the remainder    
    of the term. The Contest will state: Town of Bath, Commissioner, Unexpired Term and is listed as such on the Municipal Candidate spreadsheet.    
    Filing began on July 20th and will end at 5:00 pm on Tuesday July 26th
