    Mrs. Carrie "Arlene" Crisp, age 88, a resident of East Carolina Rehab & Wellness Center of Greenville died Saturday April 2, 2016.

    A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday April 5, 2016 at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washingotn officiated by Rev. Danny Edge. Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery.

    The family will receive friends 10:00 a.m. till the funeral hour on Tuesday at the funeral home.

    Mrs. Crisp was born in Beaufort County on January 10, 1928 daughter of the late Thomas Henry Crisp and the late Carrie Etta Brown Crisp. She was married to Aldo Mancinelli who survives and later married Iver Aaseby and Thomas H. Tice who both preceded her in death. Mrs. Crisp was a homemaker and was the author of "Old Carolina Tobacco Country" a cookbook of southeast recipes.

    Mrs. Crisp is survived by a daughter: Teresa Mancinelli Schrum of Broken Arrow, OK; a son: Paul Mancinelli of Tulsa, OK; a sister: Anne Hoell of Otto, NC; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one sister: Mildred Lawrence and four brothers: Berlie Crisp, Ferebee Crisp, James Ray Crisp and Bobby Gene Crisp.
