Communication students tasked with national convention production

 The "Best in Festival" awards ceremony, produced by ECU students at the Broadcast Education Association convention in Las Vegas this past weekend, was a success. After working all semester on assigned video elements, students were there to incorporate their work into live remarks from presenters and recipients on stage, all without a hitch.

 "The show went very well, and the place was packed," professor and project coordinator Dr. Glenn Hubbard said via e-mail. "I don't have an exact number, but hundreds attended. Exciting night!"
