ENCNow

My youngest grandkid and her pre-teen friends just need a taxi. They have no interest in politics and history and I am interested in watching her play not teaching. My job is to get her safely from point A to point B and sit in the stands while her parents work.

The others are lost into the teenage years where friends are more important than relatives. This is the last one before I hear, "Thanks for your service, goodbye. It was fun while it lasted."

Conclusion: I never planned for this stage in life: Really never thought about it until now. I'll think about it tomorrow. Tomorrow is another day.

Tmac, be sure to leave them a link to BCN, where they can learn more about their grandfather when and if they finally wonder who that old man was who kept trying to tell them stories.I suggest you write it down on a 3 x 5 card in case they have a computer crash. Or you could put it on a Twenty Dollar bill. They might think that Old Hickory was you before you were banned from the money.
