Eursil W. Jones | Eastern NC Now

    Mrs. Eursil Marie Woolard Jones, age 73, a resident of 1545 Mill Hole Road, Washington, died Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at her home.

    Funeral services will be 11:00 am Saturday, July 9, 2016 at Rosemary Church of Christ and will be conducted by Keith Hommema and Mike Caton. Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery. Dewayne Woolard, Derek Hommema, Sam Webster and Dewey Wayne Woolard will serve as pallbearers.

    Mrs. Jones was born in Beaufort County on July 30, 1942 to the late Dewey and Monnie Gray Alligood Woolard. On May 13, 1957 she married Billy Adron Jones who survives. She was a homemaker and a member of Rosemary Church of Christ.

    Survivors include her husband, Billy A. Jones of the home, one son Dewey Jones and wife Susan of Washington, two daughters, Sheila Hommema and husband Keith of Galax, VA, Penelope Radcliffe and husband Reid of Pinetown, one brother, Dewey Wayne Woolard and wife Larue of Washington, three sisters, Jannie Webster and husband Tommy of Free Union, O'Lain Smith and husband Randy of Jefferson, VA, Gretta Leggett and husband Terry of Pinetown, five grandchildren, Derek Hommema, Kelly Jones, Jenna Jones, Macy Radcliffe, Tyler Radcliffe, two great grandchildren, Adolynn Hommema and Haylen Hommema.

    The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church and other times at the home.
