Press Release:

Raleigh, NC     Last night, The Wall Street Journal reported the Obama Administration made a $400 million payment to Iran in January that coincided with the release of four prisoners. The release of the prisoners and the payment, the first in what is $1.7 billion Iran is set to receive from the U.S., came one day after the Iran deal became official on January 16th.

Senator Burr this morning commented on the disastrous nuclear agreement with Iran, saying it will "continue to be a bad deal" and "arm Iran, the number one state sponsor of terrorism."

While Deborah Ross avoids discussing her support for the Obama Administration's nuclear agreement with Iran, two special interest groups actively promote her unwavering support for the deal. Ross' support for a deal that gives billions of dollars of financial relief to a known state sponsor of terror and a country that continually threatens the U.S. and our allies further demonstrates her blind allegiance to the failed Obama-Clinton foreign policy agenda.
