The Christmas Story Unfiltered | Eastern North Carolina Now

The Christmas Story is a time honored celebration of our Lord and Savior's birth, even, especially, when it is witnessed through the eyes of the modern child.

This beautiful story can also be revealed with a supreme sense of natural frivolity and great mirth, because that is just way it will always be, naturally ... so natural, the adults cannot resist from getting into the proverbial act. Take a gander at this video, produced by the Southland Christian Church, and, maybe, you will see what I am promoting here:

My first knowledge of Josh Groban was from the A.I. soundtrack, which was an outstanding bit of music from a fantastic film - one of Spielberg's best. From that initial brush with Mr. Groban, I discerned that he had a spectacular voice.

"Slumber my Darling" is a classic /traditional melody written by American songwriter Stephen Foster, published in 1862, and now, a century and some tens of years later, is reprised by a number of outstanding musicians.
How can one not like to love the Piano Guys? They are wholesome, creative in production, talented in arrangement and performance, and, oh yes, it's Christmas.
David Bowie and Bing Crosby teamed up for the most unusual pairing of the most unnatural crooners in the history of all duets, and, remarkably, were a tremendous success in their rendition of "Little Drummer Boy", with a hastily written back melody "Peace on Earth." This rare pairing occurred in 1
