Press Release:

    Washington, NC:     Commissioner Gary Brinn today hand delivered a freedom of information act request to the City of Washington, NC Police Department.

    The request has asked for all police reports/investigation reports involving Derik Davis and his "Doctor Shopping" which is the practice of visiting multiple physicians to obtain multiple prescriptions for otherwise illegal drugs. Also requested are any other reports involving the misuse of prescription drugs by Davis.

    Brinn stated, "The more that is learned about Derik Davis, the more it's understood how unfit this man is for public office. What is wrong with this guy."
