I Contend That $136,000,000 Is Not A Drop In The Bucket | Eastern North Carolina Now

A Million Is A Thousand Thousand. That Means 136,000,000 Is 136 Thousand Thousands. That's A Lot Of Money Everywhere Except Washington, D.C.

This is a repeat blog posting from my Foolishness...Or Is It? blog. It was originally published March 30, 2014. It hit a nail on its head back then and bears repeating, so I am repeating it.

The Lagniappe Links at the bottom will inform you about how changing to Garamond Font will save the Federal Government $136,000,000 a year in printing ink costs.

It appears that, now that our Federal Government has become aware of this easy-as-pie way to save $136,000,000, it has strangely decided not save this $136,000,000.

It seems that the Washington D.C. Department in charge of Rejecting Brilliant Money Saving Ideas has said Nyeht (a lot of bureaucrats have started using Russian just in case the rumor that Putin is going to be elected our next president turns out to be true).

Benjamin Franklin, the A Penny Saved Is a Penny Earned Founding Father is turning over in his grave.

There are reports that the original designer of the Garamond Font Typeface, Mr. Claude Garamond, is pretty dizzy himself.

Yes, I did change the font in this blog posting and will change it for all future blogs to Garamond because, based on the amount of times my dear readers print out my Foolishness, they will easily save $.12 per year in printer ink costs.

Do I see you laughing at me? Hey, Mister Jolly Person, that's a lot more than a penny.

    Would I kid u?

Lagniappe: Yea, I know you are not going to read both of these links but I've got to give access to them in order to silence those of you who think I made all of this up...
