    Mr. Henry Thomas "Tommy" Leigh, age 73, a resident of Belhaven, NC died Saturday November 19, 2016 at Vidant Medical Center of Greenville.

    A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday November 22, 2016 at Mt. Olive Church of Christ officiated by Mike Caton. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Wayne Cox, Chris Cuthrell, Ricky Radcliffe, Adam O'Neal, Chuck Latham and Robbie Slade will serve as pallbearers.

    The family will receive friends 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday November 21, 2016 at Paul Funeral Home of Belhaven and other times at the home.

    Mr. Tommy was born in Portland, OR on July 10, 1943 son of the late James Richard Leigh and the late Elizabeth Respess Leigh. He was a retired salesman for Cox Chevrolet of Belhaven. Mr. Tommy was a member of Belhaven Lodge # 509 AF&AM Masonic Lodge and a member of Mt Olive Church of Christ. He loved teaching and coaching sports and was very supportive of the Belhaven area youth through the town's recreation department.

    Survivors include a son: Henry Thomas "Hank" Leigh, Jr. of Washington; a daughter: Tina L. Dunbar (Richard) of Scranton; a brother: Dan Leigh (Nancy Aycock) of Chapel Hill and four grandchildren: Brooke Leigh, Callie Fitch, Jordan Gibbs and Joshua Dunbar. Mr. Tommy was looking forward to the birth of his first great grandchild. He was predeceased along with his parents by a daughter-in-law: Debbie B. Leigh; a grandson Kendall Leigh and two brothers: Joey Leigh and James Richard "Dick" Leigh.

    In lieu of flowers the family kindly asks for memorial contributions to be made to the Belhaven Recreation Department, 315 E. Main St., Belhaven, NC 27810.
