    What was it like to be buttoned up in a phone booth and shot into space. Here are a series of NASA videos featuring John Glenn's Friendship 7 flight into space. The Mercury capsule was only 6 feet wide at its base and 10 feet tall. It was the equivalent of an adult baby seat.

This is obviously a Photoshop picture, but it does show the enormity of the event

    Somehow, I never thought I would have felt the grief on the passing of John Glenn as I have these last few days. Below is a series of NASA videos using actual video and audio You can still feel the excitement from these 1962 clips.
