    Mr. Thomas "Tommy" Kemp Glancy II, age 55, a resident of 125 Shirley Farm Road, Pinetown, NC died Monday April 9, 2018 at Vidant Medical Center of Greenville.

    A graveside funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday April 14, 2018 at Pamlico Memorial Gardens in Washington. The service will be officiated by Bud Ball and Raffael Farrow. Pallbearers will be Sammy Corey, Tim Biggs, Ricky Adams, Winslow Peele, Jason Wallace and Richard Gerard, Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Frankie Arrants and Glenn Howell.

    The family will receive friends 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday April 13, 2018 at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington and other times at the home.

    Tommy was born in Craven County on August 17, 1962, son of the late Thomas Kemp Glancy, Sr. and Guylene Guthrie Scharf who survives. He was a 1980 graduate of Washington High School and was the owner/operator of Glancy Logging. Tommy's passions in life were his family, his business and helping others.

    Surviving along with his wife Lisa of the home, are his children: Thomas "Casey" Glancy and his wife Brittney of Belhaven, Danielle Glancy Midgette and her husband Joe of Vanceboro, Sarah Elizabeth Glancy and her fiancé Alex Clark of Greenville and Ryan Kemp Glancy of the home; his mother: Guylene Scharf and her husband Ray of Harkers Island; his mother-in-law: Christene Cahoon of Pinetown; a brother: Craig Allen Glancy of Washington; a sister: Gi Gi Glancy Helper and her husband Irvin of Newport; two grandchildren: Tripp and Ainsley Midgette; an uncle: John Glancy and his wife Jackie of Texas and three aunts: Phyllis Day and her husband Mike of Arizona, Beth Gildersleeve of Morehead City and Barbara Spano of Morehead City. Tommy was eagerly awaiting his third grandchild.

    In lieu of flowers the family kindly asks for memorial contributions be made to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation International, Triangle/Eastern NC Chapter, 7721 Six Forks Road, Suite # 136, Raleigh, NC 27615.
